I'm having trouble with "Meat Eaters", how many regular monsters must you kill to get the 'boss' one with Scream to show up?

Slot hit will have them toss a coin everytime.

Yep. I thought you had to have them land on the side that rains down the burning rocks onto your party 10 times, which isn't the case. 10 successful coin flips (the ones where you receive gold) are what is required and you can do it easily as Kenshinx said.

The Immortal was much easier than that damn guard and his dog. Now I just need to find all the seeds so I can get that Pipot charm to learn every skill.

Re: Complete Backyard Guide
You must have got lucky because the dog can kill you in one hit if it connects or you don't absorb the attack or if the character isn't part of a team in the back row or if you don't have Persistance and MP Guard.

I attacked the dog once got poison effect on him, I blocked his one attack on me, then I fought the guard, I got perfects etc so the dog never attacked me, when it died we fought 1v1, his first hit hit me for 4k I equipped my dundural ring, and went back in forth, his fear/etc attack missed me because of my aliment resistence, I attacked, then I absorbed his next attack, I blockeda few, I guarded, got hit again, absorbed the next, so forth and so forth. I only came close to dieing once, and even then I had 1.1k health left.

Well, okay, but you still got lucky with the poison and the blocking.  It took me quite a while to get Poison to affect it.

Re: Complete Backyard Guide
I tried to beat the Immortal, but he cast Generus, which gives gim 30,000 health per turn, and when I tried using Divide when my health was low, it only did about 350 at max.  I have Kaim, Seth, Ming, Sarah at level 90 and Jansen at 57.

Re: Complete Backyard Guide

Divide does damage based on CURRENT HP it's the Reversa spell that deals damage based on LOST HP.

Yeah, I'd feel good if that happened.  I've feel great when I do something out of luck.  I don't know, depends on why use fire attack.

Re: Complete Backyard Guide

Thanks!  Oh, if you guys are talking about the Money-Money challenge, use Slot Hit and they do a head-coin-flip every time you use that skill on them.

Re: Complete Backyard Guide
Can You be more specific on the "two eyes" battle? I read somewhere else that you have to beat 4+ dogs, but do i have to win within ten turns as well as killing four dogs? If so I am finding it rather difficult to kill the four dogs and the eye within ten turns, and I keep getting 2 stars, so If theres some specific strategy could you please let me know? Thanks.

Re: Re : Re: Re : Re: Complete Backyard Guide
I could be wrong, but i believe that is the one where they like to go boom =p. If you cast flare or use a fire-based item before they attack, they will choose to explode instead of fight you the long way. I could just be blowing smoke, but i'm fairly sure that i'm correct. I need to go level up for Immortal, as he is killing me easily at level 73 (average for party)

Like Cowpeeler says all flare has to be cast in the first round.

I was in my mid 30's and I had another member provide casting support .Otherwise she wouldn't cast it till round 2 and  thus it was too late.
