lol..more maps?..im still having a blast playing on the oens we have now....and ones like invasion and solarfarm ..i can only imagine how long those will be fun for..lol

I would imagine that eventually they would have more maps available..but I think the ones they will be giving us will be plenty of fun by them selves.

So, how fun do you think the MEDIUM maps will be?  4/8 maps will be medium, with little armor, and no air units.

 

And yes, it sucks that NO MAP has the RSA Transport Helicopter.  Well, the PC Modders will have fun, on XBOX we're screwed....

for me?..loads of fun...vehicles are nice..but I prefer to be on foot most the time..usually with either special ops or heavy assault kits...usually with an emp or ground support role..lol..I have even gotten the hang of disabling/destroying many vehicles without using the AT rockets..lol

maps sound good, but besides the needed patch, this game is screaming for DLC in an expeditious manner. 

see you all on the 25th...or is the 25th shipped and the 26th actual release?

That's what I fear becuase each Transport Chopper HAS to get a full load, they carry 6 people and are 4 of them = 24 people in a heli, and 1 attack heli, 25, if one flies off without people it's all down road from there for the Coalition.

Unlike the attack Heli, lonewolfing a Transport Heli is pointless, because you need to wait for atleast 2 passengers so you can have gunners.  Going up solo would be completely stupid....unless you want to do decoy tactics, to draw fire...however, without SL-to-SL chat and proximity chat, how would you coordinate that!??!

You never know how stupid people can be. The first reaction is "Ooohhh, a helicopter, I'll take it not knowing it's for transport and go to shoot somebody but have only flares shoot out to redirect missiles!"

Im confused. How many people will this game be able to hold. Xbox.com says 32. Gamers say 50. And the Comercial says 62. How many people can the maps and servers hold.

The beta server testing was capped at 50 for testing which was all they were willing to indicate at the time.  IGN game reviewers got to play with 56 players and they suggested that they were working on increasing that number before release but did not want to indicate the final number until release.

It'll probably be 62 if TV spots say 62.  I assume it should have said 32 in the TV spot though.  I would be super happy to find out it's really 62 on release day though!

62 would be awsome, but they would have to put a limit on the maps such as street. 62 people on street would be horrible.

Far as I know they were going to limit Street to 32 players.  Still a large number but from the demo is was great fun.

What about game modes?  Is there only one type where you press forward and take over the point. Or will there be other game types. Maybe one type will get boring?

Apparently they are already working on additional gametypes as a post release patch.  The release will only come with the standard gametype in multiplayer.  I will say though that each map is almost it's own gametype as you have to use different strategies to win (espeically on Invasion).

Personally the single player and multiplayer will keep me satisfied for months if not longer.

Invasion is definately a gametype of its own. They may add an objective to make it solid, but it is straight up attack and defend.

Violence is not the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'yes'.

ok cool. just he didnt say if it was a 360 or pc guide he brought. and i didnt read it carefully just wanted to see what maps there were. after a second read i see them on solarfarm!! so any americans who get this post what its like asap. as i know some stores over there open at 12.01 to sell games or sell games at 12.01 at 24hour store's.

The 360 will have a 50 player cap on some servers. The PC will have a 64 player cap on some servers. KAOS mentioned on their forums (and these ones too, I believe) that they were actually able to play on 360 with 73 people during testing, and that  a future patch to support more than 50 players might not be out of the questionYes [Y]

it was 75Stick out tongue [:P] but that was without tanks and stuff. as long as wwe can play with 50 people with jets helis and tanks on that sloarfarm map im happy. lets hope we can see further also as the demo you couldnt see far

Invasision will seperate the good snipers from the bad. sniping high altitude while in a moving birds facking Oorah. that and it going to be black hawk down all over again.
