Just do hard mode first. Its a bit of a pain at the start, but not to much. Hard unlocks normal, so you'll get two cheevos for each level.

I had to do a second 30 min run on normal to get the last cheevo, but it only took maybe 17 hours total. if even that much.

How do you beat the last boss on this game, i keep on getting 3 out the of the 4 rods and then getting killed, anyone got any tips that would help.

I blocked constantly and kept barging a lot of the bad guys into the walls of fire using LB + A (I think its those buttons) - this worked ok for me.

I really enjoyed playing this game. I really spent a ton of time playing it the first time through but when I played it again on hard I just flew right through it. I didn't really notice much of a increase in difficulty until that final staircase climb to Hel.

was thinking about getting 1k/1k [haven't found a game to get it on yet] but I have too much on my plate right now. Have Forza 2 that I just started a few days ago, need to wrap up Lost Odyssey still [disc 4], have Turning Point here from gamefly [yeah, I know, crap game], just got Dark Sector so I want to get online some w/ that [probably won't though], and of course GTA IV which is coming next week, plus a few PS3 games along w/ Crisis Core so I decided to skip 1k for now. Maybe later this year if the mood strikes me or more importantly, have time, I'll go back and get all 1k by playing it on hard. Should only need Hard Mode achievements and skullbagger 1 but I didn't realize you had to get the skulls before you started the battle so I was 10/12 on the second island. IF I wouldn't have let a friend borrow it last week I probably would have went back and got all 1k, but oh well.

I got my 1000 in 3 days on a 5 day rental (girlfriend was out of town).

I almost gave up on final boss. Game froze right before I got to her last night. Started the battle again. Got up there and got annoyed and trying to get the flame rods or whatever they are destroyed. Useing LT-A was good but boring way of doing it. One suggestion is hit the start button and take a 15 minute break if you need to. I did that and managed to get through. I thought I wasn't going to get the immortality achievement because I accidently died by her minion when I went into the flames.

Ended up with 980 first time through. Then started on normal and saved a copy to MU just encase I *** up the Perfect Killer achievement getting the horn. Didn't need the save:) So now have all 1000. Time to go return back to blockbuster.

jus beat the sh*t out of it on one play through . end boss really pissed me off the whole tower thing and the rods that needed to be broken, to many guys and the game lags when to much stuff is happening .even blocks r useless .but i got a 1000/1000

yea the rods at the end ,come on wtf i died 4times out side 5times running up the tower and about ten times fighting her dumb guys she jus kept sending out .got all the achieves on one play through

Apparently its only AFTER she morphs. I did twice in the preceeding sections, but not after that. Got the achievement.

Ha! Last night I did it!

I finally beat that b*tch Hel. I was sweating bullets the whole time knowing I had to beat her without dieing...but once I got throught the few waves of battle by getting owned 314 times by giants and champions on my way there she was rather simple to defeat.

Odd thing was; I could not find any health potions for purchase in the vacinity of the last battle so I did it with a maxed health bar and a few buddies & females cheering me on as I batlled through the staircases towards Hel.

It would be my first perfect game (1000/1000)  and it was evident as my friends & I erupted into cheer as we watched my personal gaming history add a "perfect" to it's resume' just how much value the Xbox 360 Achievements really held.

I own all three systems but the Xbox 360 put everyone involved last night INTO the action....of course, some tequila and a couple of cases of beer helped too! :)

Overall all, an awesome game, I can't wait for the sequal.

played through on normal and got all but the skull bagger and complete on hard achievements. Il go through and get those at somepoint in the future. Really liked this game.

I loved how i go the one for killing a champion without him hitting you. In one of the big battles my army had beaten one down to a point where it gave me the option to finish it. Low and behold i stoll my minions kill and unlocked it lol.

Good fun game concidering some of the bad press it had gotten.

Simple. Got all 1000.

Brilliant game. Definitely under-rated by press.

I will have to say that this game is one of my top games out right now, the epic and large scale battles are awesome.  I highly recommend this game, a must play for any gamer that enjoy a good RPG with an excellent story-line.
