100 of thousands of people play Halo 3 every day still, that's WAY more than Tony Hawk's games.

Regardless, Skate. did TH in... well, TH put it's self down as well. If TH can do something great and compete with skate... I'll be surprised.

I personally think TH will start going more towards a realism, less cheesy style of gameplay. If they don't, they might as well do TH in.

I also find it hilarious that Riley Hawk admitted to not playing his father's game and playing skate. with his friends.

Well i for one hope they don't. I don't want two realistic skating games. I love the arcade like style of the older games in the series. Honestly i found Skate. boring. to slow paced for me. ( I don't hate anyone else for liking Skate.) as was THPG. Which is why i play THAW daily.

Yea that's where your wrong. You think because everybody else likes skate I should... wtf... So what if 100 of thousands of people like halo 3. I don't care because I don't like it. Yea same as what demonic said... skates boring and slow. It doesn't mean I don't respect that other people do like it though. I couldn't care less If tony hawks son did play skate instead of tony hawks. Is that really going to affect the outcome of what games I like to play. No.

The thing I get annoyed about is when people that don't even like the game come to the forum to say crap about it. What is the point?

The people who do that just get a kick out of the flaming responses they get. Internet trolling is bad and immature, but I've given up on trying to stop it. It just builds up too much hate for people I don't even know and I, for one, value my karma so flaming and making crude and nefarious remarks is out of the question for me.

Yeah, I'm not saying you should like it because everyone else does. I'm saying that from a business standpoint, it would make sense to compete with EA Skate... I mean, why choose to not sell more copies? I'm sure they have what's in their best interest for the company in mind.

It's not impossible, considering they're building TH games "from the ground up."

Have you even read their article that says that? It's somewhere on IGN I believe. Sounds to me like they know their games are doing bad and are planning on getting back into the skateboarding game genre by rebuilding from the ground up...

Meh, gh3 and rockband are actually pretty different. But yeah, you can tell theyve been rushing the games sadly...

Yea they are basically the same game except I hear rock band is more like GH2 with the timing. GH3 hit window is a lot bigger and hammer os / pull offs are much easier because you don't have to time them you can just hold the note until it hits the bottom. Rockband guitar is supposed to be easier compared to GH3 but then Rockband as a lot more variety. The thing is that they are completely different games. I dunno why but I just love neversoft games :)

Coming from someone who's played a lot of both, they're pretty different actually. Its kinda like saying skate and TH games are pretty much the same game cause they're both skateboarding titles.

so far th elist looks good but on rock band 2 there will be 84 songs on the disc, plus all of you curent dlc, plus (this is what i got out of it) you can transfer EVERY song from RB 1 disc to the RB 2 disc. this supposedly music creator may turn out like the video editor in THPG, so much do do but not many people use it, or maybe a gimmick to sell a few copies.

i want a city filled with ALL thps levels to make one large city from there you will meet people you me up with in the past like ollie, eric, mindy and her crew, you know what im saying? and a combonation of calssic to modern day THPS goals also alcatarz would be cool to add
the trick controls could be the older ones in exception to the NTT goals, thats where you can use them strictly for total control in those goals.
i have a whole new idea for the future controlls but i will keep that to myself for now
also THUG and THPS4 are the best!

Yea also, when a game as been won you get to spectate instead of looking at a blue sky or nothing. I could spectate on th3 on the pc and thaw I don't know why they didn't put it in the 2 latest it shouldn't be difficult. It just seems like they are being lazy.
