Count me in guys and gals. i gotta say of all the games i've played on the 360 unlocking achievemnts for this one was way too easy. the last 2 for me to unlock was the hero and super hero achivements which i was able to get at the same time since i put the game on the highest difficulty. gettn these was a challange and worth the hassle. fair game in my book. can't wait to see how they do the next game...

I got mine on Mission 4 Maggia Factories. Whiplash is a bit hard to do because he moves around too much so just divert power to melee and punch him as much as you can.

try the very first misson as well as thats what i did. i think the name of the first mission u do for the game is called escape. just run around punch and grab the heck out of whatever u see and u should be set. also is a good idea to try this on the easy difficulty setting.

I did the no weapons one on the 3rd mission on easy.  For the last fight in that mission you can catch/return missiles that it shoots at you to kill it.  Did it on the easy difficulty setting just to be 100% sure I would get it.  I disagree that this is the easiest game to get achievements for though.  Avatar the burning earth has got to be THE easiest game to 1000/1000 on the 360, and is pretty much a watermark for who simply plays for achievement points and who plays games they actually enjoy and go for the achievements as a bonus.  Avatar is a worthless game, and the only reason to even play it would be for achievements lol.  Movie-based games are at least fun if you liked the movie they were based on, albeit that their achievements usually tend toward the easier end of the spectrum.

I firmly believe beating this game on formidable is pretty respectable though, so anyone that 1000/1000 this game is ok in my book.

Thanks JCaldito & Smokin ace! il have to try that when i finish the rest of the missions on formidible xD got any clues on how to take down the big cannon. on the mission where you have to save the civilians ??? im a bit stuck there and it really peed me off so havnt played it for a while lol.

Can I change my Gamertag for Free?

Well, there is a large open area beneath the platform the cannon tower is on.  Go in and drop as many of the turrets as you can (just to be safe), find an opening to the area near the edges of the platform.  If you find the right spot, I think you can lock-on to the cannon from there by looking upward, and you'll be relatively safe from most of the turrets.  You're primary concern will be the flying troopers that respawn during the fight.

Got a lot of work still to do but with the amount of frustration due to difficulty in this game.... my Hat is off to those who reach this plateau.  Congrats

Finally beat it Sat Night man that game was fun I had to glitch the stage with the power couplings lol I just stood in the middle of the laser and incoming missiles dmg the laser and I was shooting it too I had the hulkbuster costume. Great game can't wait for the HULK now.

 

Oh and like for the last 3 or 4 missions I used the Hulk Buster armor last 3 I know i had him fully upgraded 3's

congrats to everyone who got 1000. i dont have the patience for it.. im on the mission right bepfre the iron monger fight on the hardest difficulty. and it just pisses me off to no end with the non stop missles and jets. good game tho.. coulda been alot better but still good

ive completed the game on formidable and completed all the 1 Man army missions all i need to do are the Hero objectives and kill certain bosses with the different armour types and then il have my 1000 =]

Got it a while ago when it first came out.  Subsequently sold, no DLC.

Just completed getting the last achievement (Super Hero). Very time consuming.
Accomplishments on Formidable:
1.  Completed all objectives on Save Pepper mission with Mark III at once. 147/147
2.  Defeated Iron Monger 1^st try with Mark III armor. (Only died twice, would’ve been once if I hadn’t slipped up in the begging.)
3.  Used only the Hulkbuster & Mark III armors for all the missions on formidable.

1000/1000 for me!

I read the reviews that panned this game as too hard, but being a Marvel fan I couldn't resist buying it.

I was up for the challenge so played my first play thru on Formiddable.

Basically if you don't play this game wiith the same caution as a tactical shooter, expecially on hard-mode, you'll die in an instant.

This isn't like Spiderman 3 or The Hulk, it's much harder and doesn't have free-roam, whch sucks... Hopefully the next iron man game will have free-roam.

I had to play thru on Easy mode after completng the game to get the Tesla tower achievement and the Centurion vs Ironmonger achievement.

You need to complete all the Hero goals on the SAME difficulty... I couldn't save the Tesla towers on Formiddable so I just did all the missions agian on easy, took about 2 hrs.

Whew...(Breathes a sigh of relief). Finally. I'm a member as of today. Damn hard game, just to many enemies attacking you from every direction. Hopefully when they make a game for Iron Man 2 they make improvements on that.

Are you suggesting you only buy a game if it can provide you with some sort of sever-to-user mass data transfer for your xbox?
