That's excellent news to hear.  Glad to hear someone is happy.  I'll make sure to answer all my cell phone calls tomorrow.  Could you let us all know exactly how the process works?  Where on the dashboard do you go to enter the code?  I'm assuming they'll tell us the instructions when we get the code, but in case I get a retard that just gives me the code, I rather know ahead of time.  Thanks.  Happy Hexic-ing

Yes you go into dashboard and then you put the 25 digit code of letters and numbers in the prepaid subscription area, and it comes up download full version Hexic.

Called today and they said there is no code and you have to wait for it to appear on the marketplace. 

Of course support could just not know the specifics of their job, but that wouldn't be good now huh

dont take "no" for an answer, keep calling until they help you.  Most of them don't even know hexic is a game...which is sad....

Say what you will, but promise.... They called last night from Texas and I was online playing last night. Check out my gamercard. Unlocked survivor mode last night. Erase it sometime in November trying to erase a profile I erased Hexic and Bankshot billards. I had the code to the pool game so I was able to put it in immediately, but been without Hexic till last night. Look and see. Call them again and talk to a supervisor.

phoned again, and they are totally useless.

gave him the service request number and he sat quiet for about 30 seconds and asked what the problem with my console was.... after explaining it for the 3rd time (think he might of been on day release?), said it'd be escalated (which is what i was told last time).... so i asked what that actually meant and was he saying their support was crap? - im pretty patient, i have to work on a helpdesk during the week somedays... but this is just dreadful customer service.

and then he said it could be worse! lol.

terrible customer support, which is typical of these large companies.

I originally reported this problem to support on 04/01/06 - I called on Friday to chase it up, and I was promised a call back within 2 days. The guy hadn't got a clue, as this was "being dealt with by tier 2 support" - I was even given another incident number, as this has been "escalated" again.

I don't understand why someone from support doesn't note our gamertags, search on their system to confirm we have raised the incident, and then e-mail us all our unique download code.

btw my problems are with UK XBOX 360 support. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was informed he was very busy. I'm gonna try again before the week is out and speak with a supervisor. How do we go about writing an official complaint about support issues? directly to Microsoft?

that guy earlier should post that number........i bet anybody can use it, the support people never know what they are talking about

how is a code going to affect your gamertag and your ability to just give it out to test.  And where to input it.

I bought the live kit and it had bankshot billiads in it for free. Well should I give that code out too? Thats what they are saying. I did ask them last night if I could give the code on the forums to help everyone out includng them and they said no that the seperately bought HDD didn't have the Hexic. Now I have no idea if thats the truth. But me giving the code instead of you getting your call I can't do. That code is for the registration number for my 360 just like the code I got in my LIVE kit for billards. Sorry and really someone should be calling you if you called and talked to a supervisor and got it escalated. I was only writing to tell everyone that I got mine so watch for numbers from Austin, Texas. Thats all.... So wait or call them back, whatever you like. Funny thing is that maybe people that have got their own calls and codes, and haven't came back to tell everyone thinking that everyone has been called, Who knows. I'm out of here, but really I am telling the truth. I'm 44 years old and could care less about the game other then I erased it and my roomate liked the game. I had been calling since November. Last night and today were the only times I've even played it and yes I'll admit it was fun. If you look back I have been posting here for some time about wanting it back, and now it's recently played on my gamercard. My post was just a heads up, not trying to get into trouble or any arguments about it. Your call will come providing you took the right measures. They called me last night at 9:21 PM EST.(late)... So maybe you guys calls will be tonight. I sure hope so. I was just confirming the calls are starting, thats all.... What I really want is the update for COD2 online lag problem. Oh and a side note, I called EA support yesterday about lag in Tiger Woods and Madden and they said try opening ports 30060 and 30220 both UDP and TCP in the router. Don't bash me on this either, just helping someone hopefully. Xbox support will say ports 88 and 3074.. Best of luck tonight on the calls.

In the dashboard, theres an area for your prepaid codes. Lets say you buy marketplace points at EBgames or something, well thats where you put it. I bought the live kit and put in the free 200 points that was included in that there and also the code for bankshot billiards. Really guys I hope you get your calls soon. So everyone can chill.

Be nice if they put up a "code" generator.  Like put your serial number from the 360 into the generator and gives you the code, maybe they need to look into this.  That seems easy enough I guess if it deals on your registration or what not, whatever will work.  A nice generator where we can put something in (like our gamertag, since it's appearently deals with that, you say anyways.)   Something like this will solve many people's problems with a click of a "generate" button.

I thought Hexic HD was on every hard drive, the ones from premium content and the ones sold seperately, and even if it's not on every hard drive, why can't they just put it on the market place for god sake, they're not getting any money out of it anyway because it's free on the hard drive, so the only reason i see why they don't put it on the market place is to get people who bought the core version, buy the premium version too, because that's the only way to get Hexic HD ( if it isn't on the hard drives sold seperately ), but that's even more ridiculous, who would do that ?

The only thing I can think of would be a licensing issue, or maybe a pre caution if 3rd party HDD's appear for the XBOX 360 in the future - still, doesnt excuse the fact that this has been a total shambles, and that the level of customer service in this instance has been a total joke.

I don't know of ANY companies that would leave such a simple resolution (if its just a code....) to exceed 10 days...

I still dont see why no1 has posted the code.  If you used the code and got your hexic, what ahrm could possibly come from giving the code out?  Even if the code is stored somewhere, its useless now since you got the game back.  I say give it out for others to try.  If bankshot Billiards code can come with a retail purchase to be used on any 360, then perhaps so can the Hexic hd.

This really sucks, I can't wait for 4 days for a call back at anytime during the day.  There needs to be a list of reps that don't know wtf they are saying.  The urge to play hexic on 360 in really killing me.  I understand it's my fault in away....but it's their fault that when I went to delete one of the profiles it got deleted somehow.  I'm guessing that's one of the fixes? that was in that update.  But they should give us something to comfort us in the meantime.

I don't think we should be bashing people because they were lucky enough to get a phone call. There are many licensing issues involved, so I'm sure it's not as simple as creating one code we can all use.

We should direct our anger at Microsoft.

Could one of the moderators/support staff who browse this forum please post an e-mail address, fax number or address where I (and others) can send a formal written letter of complaint? There is no point in contacting the e-mail address given by support (I think it was supxbxen@microsoft.com), as this is just a generic mailbox, replies from which take about a week, and then you're told to call support.

Everytime I call the support line I have to spend 15 minutes explaining the problem, then EVERY time I'm told that person can't help me - Tier 2 support don't field calls - they will call back. The promise is always broken (3 days past the latest promised call back by date).

I'm now on my 3rd 360 console, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I must have spent at least 4 hours on the phone to support, mainly because the promised call back never comes.

Do not you people UNDERSTAND, once that code is used NO ONE can use it again that's why it's called a code. It is and only will work on the 360 account it was first used, and it is veryfied by email when you register any code for xbox live. Nuf said !
