By that rationale, you can't give it a good review since you weren't involved in the development.
Anyone can have any opinion on anything, and nobody needs to follow anybody else's criteria for it.
Every AITD game since the first one has been terrible.
And by that rationale, the development team will be honest about their product...but in reality there is a reason why there are separate organizations that present the reviews. Otherwise game corporations would hype their products out the ***.
Sure, have an opinion. But that doesn't mean it can't be an underdeveloped idea that shows little support as to why it is logical over another person's well thought out opinion on a topic. How am I supposed to take a person seriously when they walk into a thread, tell me the game that I enjoy sucks, and then fail to provide any reasons to make me even consider changing my mind? You're condoning anyone who posts a half-wit statement on a topic, and fails to provide any solid facts to back their beliefs.
"This game is so bad it smells"
Why? "Because the game sucks."
That's a reiteration of your previous statement. Your argument?"Gameplay mechanics suck."
Now we're getting somewhere...why do you believe that they 'suck'?"Because a reviewer said so."
And you believe everything you read?"But they are IGN!"
You do not equal any gaming site, and their reviews are meant to be a guide. Not your basis to form an opinion."I played the first level and it sucks. The whole game sucks."
If the first level is the last level, that would indeed be disappointing...but you have yet to complete the game. How do you not know that you may change your mind?"Oh well I returned the game."
Excuse me while I go walk into oncoming traffic.
And the thread continued until Alone in the Dark 6...
"Prepare for a pride obliterating b*tchslap."
