same thing first lvl boring and tedious but the rest of the game is fun as *** i hate only one thing in the game that is the constant use of fire there is barely anthing esle you can kill them with

well to say this to the least this game has flaws evrything does but i found the intense graphic impressive story line with constant plot twist and intriging enemy and puzzles were reall yfun sometime irratating but if you let ppl general opinion of it suck with no valid reasoning then you shouldnt make a reply yes ppl are right about the first lvl but thats cause its a tutorial its expected why would ppl send someone out without info on how to play so before grading this a bad game get pat the first few chapters

And by that rationale, the development team will be honest about their product...but in reality there is a reason why there are separate organizations that present the reviews. Otherwise game corporations would hype their products out the ***.

Sure, have an opinion. But that doesn't mean it can't be an underdeveloped idea that shows little support as to why it is logical over another person's well thought out opinion on a topic. How am I supposed to take a person seriously when they walk into a thread, tell me the game that I enjoy sucks, and then fail to provide any reasons to make me even consider changing my mind? I think the inventory is one of the worst parts about this game.  People are saying they were going for the realistic approach yet you can throw some alcohol on your bullets and presto "magic fire bullets".  The fact that you have to drop things constantly just slows down the gameplay completely.  Here is how I look at it if you take out the terrible driving scenes and the roots burning at the end, this game would be 4-5 hours max.  So what they obviously decided to do was throw in some crap driving sequences and a repetative task at the end just to buy there already short game some time.  Not to mention controls were just broken.  It should not be ok that they implented a control scheme that was used over 10 years ago.  I think the combat was aweful they would have been better off just leaving it out of the game completely.  I have stated my reasons several time on these forums for why this game is so bad yet the only time people respond to me is to tell me I am an *** for having my own opinion.  I am not trying to single people out but it seems like most of the people who are defending this game (most not all) are around the age of 16.  I am not saying that they have no say I just think that most kids that age can barely afford new games so tehy have to choose carefully.  I am somewhat of an idiot myself I go out and basically buy any new game that comes out without any hesitation.  So I am always playing different games and maybe this is why I feel this game is so bad.  It is because there are way too many other great games out there for people to go and waste their time on a game like this.

Its just my opinion I have at least stuck with it from the very beginning. POinting out facts and predicting how bad this game was going to be was not my fault.  This is coming from "azombiebitme" who use to send me voice messages telling me how wrong I was about not liking this game. Crying everytime Like a whiny little kid..  Not to mention you obviously get kicked off for some reason.

Like a few other people said. It is a pretty decent game if you give it a chance. Not to mention the fact there is quite a few things in this game that I havent seen in any others. checking glove boxes, piercing gas tanks to syphon fuel, pooring fuel on bullets,health is judged by the amount of wounds you have,breaking down doors,pyromania and countless other things. Now these things may have been in other games but its all new to me. For it being a newcomer to the next gen consoles, its pretty damn good in my book. It might even turn out to be an allright franchise.

This kid azombiebitme is a blatant liar.  Not only did this kid send me constant messages on xbox live but he is now making up stories.  I find it hilarious that you said I made another myspace account when I dont have one to begin with.  This kid was harrassing me so much that I looked at his live profile and what did he have pasted on it "His Myspace Acct".  So I decided to click on it because you know what maybe he was some little kid who was just being annoying.  Instead what I see is a 23 year old kid with pink hair crying about how emo he is.  Everything I have said on this forum is true, zombie just spews out lie after lie.

after seeing the great price (and then this thread) i decided to check out the demo.
is that the dreaded first level everyone is freaking out about?
either way, i thought it was pretty cool. personally i like the jacket inventory system. looks neat.
the graphics were fairly decent. not top notch, but 360 worthy. that fire looked amazing.
it really made me think of condemned with a touch of bioshock, 2 favorites of mine.

i'm still not sure about buying it, though. for a couple key issues i have:

do you have to burn every enemy to kill them? THAT seems a little bogus. too time consuming, unless the "flaming bullets" are always available. and if they are, i'd hate to use the same weapon throughout the whole game. wish you could pull off some headshots or something.

and secondly, yeah, you guessed it. the camera.
i played completely in 1st person mode (and even then, with the sensitivity maxed, you turn WAY too slow) but after every cut scene or even mini cut scene's i'd be switched back to 3rd.

these are my main gripes, and i must admit, i'm not that patient. these are ALMOST game-breaking issues for me, but i still might go for it anyway. even if i have a lousy time, i can get the game for 10 bucks and from what i'm hearing the achievements are easy. (completing my games is a big thing)

but yeah, to make a long story short, couple big, BIG flaws, but it seems decent enough for me.
and if people are saying level 1 is the worse, i'll probably be very pleased with the rest.
