Re: Subevents & Sidequests (Spoilers)

I can't accomplish Secret Mission 8 ever. I can't do it. Zagi will never absorb anything. I can't stop my characters from anything since I can only control Yuri. My party won't stop attacking Zagi and Zagi refuses to aborb anything. What's going on here? Why did this glitch malfunction had to happen?

I spent over 10 minutes seeing this from Zagi, but all he does is kill, kill, kill and kill. Zagi is refusing to perform the absorbtion from his blastia. Either this is not in the US version or it's some kind of a prank that Namco Bandai pulled? Either one way or the other.

Secret Mission 17 is not true. There's no way to Guard Break and there's no way to destroy Yeager's heart. It's a fraud made up by Namco Bandai. The US version really doesn't carry it. It's true. Only the Japanese version carries 50 achievements. THe US version only has 45.

Secret Mission 21 is some kind of a joke. It's Flynn's refusal.

I don't believe this. I know how ridiculed I was for Secret Mission 17 when Yeager refuses to have his heart destroyed as his Guard Break is not possible. Yeager read my gamertag and that's end of story of Secret Mission 17.

But now, Secret Mission 21 is definitely another false achievement. Why? Because no matter how long you wait for the fight against Flynn one-on-one, Flynn refuses to perform Mystic Artes. He noticed my gamertag and decided to refusing to use Mystic Artes. Even if I want my Secret Mission 21, Flynn won't let me do so and so he refuses to perform Mystic Artes period. There's no way and I give up. Flynn sure knows how to refuse Mystic Artes services to anyone at anytime without warning.

Not a whole lot of peeps still playing this, but I am and some of you may be so I just wanted to pass on this link.  The side quests have been the most frustrating part of the game to me so far only because if you don't do some of them in order you miss out on some cool dialog and loot.  The nature of the guide makes it a spoiler so I shouldn't have to warn you, but consider yourself warned that it does contain spoilers.  I couldn't find this posted anywhere already, but if it is sorry and happy gaming.

Hey man:) What do you mean, achievement wise? Or that the PS3 version has more content?
I finally finished ES, the first playthrough. I thought it was awesome..very creative and fun. These games remind me of the JRPG's I dug in the past..Y's etc. Anyway, thanks for the tip man. I just started playing this game I'm already drawn in. Charmed by the style and happy my wife got it as a bday gift 4 me. I'm a big kid heh If I get stuck I'll harass you. lol Happy Holidays.

To the OP. Thx for this thread, this info will be very helpful.

I meant content-wise.  PS3 version you can play two more characters & has a few more cut scenes & I think an extra dungeon from what I've heard.  A lot of people here have been saying how they'd like to try out Flynn (& his crew) *I should know, I'm one of 'em*  While I'm still hopeful we'll get that stuff as DL content eventually I don't like the feeling of this system being a "try out" version for Jrpgs while the "real" versions go to the competitors.

lmao, some are frustrating and some you had to have a bit of luck to be at the right spot at the right time.

I had probs with #13 against Schwann. No matter how I played it( tried to stay between him and the boundary to be close enough after his mystic Arte to get up with X and knock him while clutching his chest..)I would always get there a split second too late. I kept beating him without doing it. What made it extra furstrating is the very long unskipable cutscene right before the fight. I so wanted to give up but was commited to trying. Well after over an hour of trying I finally knocked him down and saw "Great" then looked at the situation and all my party were dead I had a low life and bam bam I died! I felt like Captain kirk yelling for Khan.. SCHWANN!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe I know that's cheesy, I didn't really yell that I blurted a few fks but it's funny to me cause I was that pissed off. Cool game though. Don't know if I'm down with doing all the little side quests, It may be too late to do some of them but the game rocks.

Ah I guess since some PS3 games come out after the 360 they have time  to tweek and add? Well I hear you, it would suck to miss out. There is so much to do in this game though it's definitely not lacking. I'm amazed by all the obvious aspects of the game but one thing that surprises me is the insane amount of audio dialog. Very cool.

*Vent open* DAMN!! lolWas hoping to do all the SM's. I missed the chance for this 10 hours of gameplay ago. Not going to redo 10 hours for it. Disappointed. :P Was only looking at each boss special mission tip as I faced them, to avoid spoiler. Thats kinda the prob with looking at this stuff too much it spoils some of the surprise of the game...but without it many secret unlockables or achievements would be a mystery. I've found this very helpful though and it's been fun trying to complete each secret mission per boss fight til now argh. This game really is addicting once you get things going.*vent closed*

Re: Secret Missions Guide (Spoilers)
Awesome info man. For me its overwhelming all you can do in this game with all the "little" side quests. Thats a good thing but not sure I can do it. Hats off to those who do. Thx for the info.

Re: Secret Missions Guide (Spoilers)
You should really thank AznBoi90 for this stuff.  But I agree, unless you're an achievement hound it is a bit overwhelming & one of the reasons it "must" be played more then once.  But it certainly beats IUs definition of sidequests.

You can check that on your xbox, just go check your achievements and write down the numbers of the missions you've gotten done.
