Immortal is lame, you can save after each boss and if you die just load your saved game. This won't work in the Wily Stages but c'mon, the Wily stages are easier than the stages from the 8 bosses 

 

Actually with a little bit prctice the game is very easy. My record of finishing the game is 38.56 

 

In case you don't already know, the achievement for defeating every enemy type unlocks at the very end of the game, like almost every other achievement. So you won't know if you got them all until you finish the game.

 

The best advice is to start on Galaxy man's stage, where you can kill every enemy with just the mega buster. From there, follow the pattern of levels and the black hole shot should kill any enemy that the mega buster cant.

i got 200/200 on 10-3-08. it's not as hard as you think it is. the challenge list... now THAT'S insane. i need about 5 left. beating the game without getting damaged .... -_- that one's gonna suck

I have all the achievements except for the gamers day or whatever it's called for beating it 5 times in one day. I'm not even sure I'm going to do that one since I don't see that as a skill achievement, more as a time wasting and repetitive achievement that they just haaaad to put in there.

I noticed this too. It shows up fine on my console, but when you check the date stamp on xbox.com, the achievement unlock dates appear as day/month/year instead of the regular month/day/year. Strange.

Signed. I finally got time to finish this awesome game, I´ve only been able to earn an achievement per day since the weekend...

I´ll now replay Megaman 1-6 from Nes Currently playing Megaman 1 ^^

I'll get to 200 over the weekend, most likely. I want to try a speed run of this game afterwards. I only have a time of 44:09, and that was from my second playthrough. Otherwise, it's just been achievement runs. Just have Invincible and Conservationist to go, and the latter's up to the Wily Stages already.

Not strange at all.  That link goes to the UK xbox.com.  That's how they do dates in the UK.

Today.  I wasn't originally going to bother with Conservationist, but finally decided to.  Fun Fact:  You can duff one Rush Coil and cancel a Rush Jet and still get it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to come back and post here.  I did get all achievements just like I said I would.  Working on challenges now, but also playing the Anniversary Collection some off and on to relive the classics as well.  Would be cool if they put that on Xbox Originals so everyone could play them all.

Signed, got all 12. Did the conservationalist/peacekeeper ones on one go. Was quite challenging, but fun.

I finally go them all. This is a great set of achievements that add a lot of replay to the game, and are well worth going for even if you normally don't care about earning achievements (although Gamer's Day is still sort of a bulls*** task in my opinion). Getting all 12 of these will really give you a feeling of accomplishment, and while they are hard, they are probably not as bad as you think. As for the challenges, I'll probably go for some of those as well, but the whole thing is soured by the fact that hardly anyone is ever going to be able to get Mr. Perfect (where you beat the game without ever getting hit), and thus getting a full set of these is going to be nearly impossible for many of us.
