Note how Criterion's website barely even mentions Revenge except on the 'our games' page. Obviously they have moved on from Revenge, and Paradise is their main focus, and will be well into next year.
Oh yeah, not once did I say anything about you... but yet you blatantly call me an idiot or stupid for voicing my opinion.. because you cant handle it.. All I say was Revenge needs new tracks... not once was your name mentioned....Do you deserve to be called an idiot? Yes, you do....

Explain to me why Paradise is so mindless, just like Revenge. Give me facts, not just statements without even an opinion.
Explain to you why Paradise is mindless? How about this... How about you explain to me why Revenge is mindless.. Give me facts.. Not just statements without even an opinion..... So how can I make my opinions look like facts? How can you make your opinion about Revenge look like facts then?
AND
1. Takedown system - Its broken.. Vapor already explained it as before..
"The takedowns don't even work properly! In Paradise, slamming another driver NEVER earns you a takedown because of the retarded distance delay between players. Most of the time, when you get taken down, the other guy didn't even make contact with your car on his screen. People have given me lots of excuses as to why this is an issue in Paradise and not at all in the earlier games - the most common of which was that, since Paradise takes place in an open world, it's hard or impossible to get the takedowns working lag-free. In which case I ask... if you can't fix the delay, why not make the takedowns less sensitive?"
- This case I do agree on....
2. Racing - Wheres the racing in this game? Obviously.. Criterion doesnt even classify Paradise as a racing game.. As it is the best "driving" experience.. Close quarter racing probably do exist in this game, just not as good as Revenge. For the most part, in most races you only see your opponents in the beginning, during the start line, as everyone has different routes, and at the finish line... thats about it.. Maybe thats why theres no speedo in here, no way to tell how fast your going.. Yeah, maybe it really is a driving on top of garages to hit that billboard kind of game...But hey if that floats your boat go for it then..
3. Motorcycles, Planes, Hovercars...blah..blah..blah.. God knows what else they'll add or dont add.. How about we add missles and rockets next?..Just stupid stuff added to give hype to this game..
4. Achievements, Goals -- whatever they put up there for you to finish up.. After that, then what? The game doesnt have any incentive to keep its players focused on playing aside from the fact that you can drive around.. Theres no real feel of adrenaline packed racing/ driving here...If I wanted to drive around, Ill just get MC:LA.. atleast I can drive around and dxck cops there in the process... Thats why they keep adding new stuff into it, new DLs, new maps,..ect.. just to keep people on it.. because without it the new DLs, the game is already dead... Atleast in Revenge, we still have tourneys planned... what do you have?
5. They even took crash mode out... Disappointed Crashers? Yes..
6. IMO, B3 and Revenge had near perfect formula, but with its own flaws. I do give props out that Criterion wanted to make something new.. But to make something so drastic without even paying attention to what many fans wanted... really sucked.. Many players who play this game and stick with it probably never played B3 or Revenge. How can they even get a concept of what previous Burnouts were like? The close competition, the near misses, a better takedown system, you seriously had to be perfect just to get good speeds, good jumps, and good drifting in both games or to have Top 2o laps.. With or without boosting or jumping, those games really had a good formula of incorporating skill on maintaining speed, getting good speeds, not just memorization on the fastest tracks...
So just a couple of my own opinions... What's yours about Revenge? And oh.. If your going to argue about boost jumping --> thats too bad.... cause apparently, for some people its too hard to do those.. Maybe not you...
------------------------------------
About those old Revenge cars? Yeah, I have them.... so I know about them... The fact that you said it was new.

Check my Achievements, Burnout Revenge is on there. And yes, there are new cars for download, you apparently never checked.
.... really caught me by surprise... considering you know so much about the game right?
gravy666 wrote:
No, Criterion closed their forums because no one acted like they were thankful for what Criterion have been doing for the Burnout community. People like you are to blame, for reasons that don't need to be explained. They are quite obvious, really...
People like us arent to blame.. Theyre the ones that closed it down. No one has authority to close the forum down but them.. if theres anyone to blame..its them for not being able to see or take other people opinions..
