Eight in area 13.  At the point the desert ends, there is a little grass, then
the air field starts.  Use the birds leg as a reference and fly straight up.

Hmm... i can't seem to get to the Bird/Desert. Do you only access this if you do NOT die during that level? I keep playing through but no damned Bird!!!! I'm trying to find this group of 8 Citadels but no luck.

i had trouble finding that one too.  not sure what to tell ya.  i just thought i didnt get far enough.  did you look at the picture link too?  that may help ya recognize the area at least.  good luck.  you can get all the sol achievs without going that far....

Thanks mate. Yeah, don't know what happens, but it says that there is the 8 formation on stage/area 13. I go to area 13 and pass it without the bird/desert there. Is there only one Bird??

There is one bird, but you pass it several times.  There is only one time that you see the entire bird on screen, if I remember correctly.

its easier to start level 9.

There are 4 Sol Citadel. Reveal all 4 and die. Now you will start again befor that 4 Sol Citadel and you only need 1 more.

I know that the other dude that was on here got kind of feisty but I am having the same issue that he had. 

The first flag is kicking my butt!  I just can't seem to get it.  The flag is not where the picture shows it to be, and I follow the directions to bomb along the coast but still doesn't show.  Does the location change at all? 

^ Well, never mind.  I found the flag about 5 minutes after making that post.  I guess I should be more patient.
