Can you switch teams while playing a private Versus match?  I was playing with a few buddies last night and rather than play an entire movie with the same teams I thought it'd be fun to mix it up after each chapter.

I like video games.

Hopefully you know this by playing it...but are 4 co-op players allowed to play on one single console?  If not, do you know of any other games, shooter preferred, that allow 4 players on a console.  I'm not talking about multiplayers against each other but something like the 2 Hunter: The Reckoning games from the regular Xbox.

It is two player split screen only, but I suggest you play over Live, it is much more fun. (Bodies of dead zombies disappear much quicker in split screen, haven't a clue why, but they do. I don't like this at all, but it doesn't unplayable on split screen, it is fun. However, get a friend who knows what he or she is doing, I know this from experience...)

The info was a big help. But i still have a question? If you system link two xbox 360's and have 2 copies of the game can 4 people play through the campaigns together? really need to know have people that want to play together.

You would just have to start from the beginning of the chapter you're on. So for instance, if you die during the finale, you will start over at the beginning of the finale.

yes actually, tried it last night. must have two XBL gold profiles. both signed in and can play a 4 player co op xbox live campaign with a split screen

The only leaderboards that exist in this game are the ones shown after the completion of a chapter and/or campaign. Online leaderboards are non-existent.

Does this game force 60hz mode? I live in Sweden, Europe, and when I download demos, some of them asks me to set my 360 to 60hz display mode. My TV doesn't like that, at all. But if I buy Left 4 Dead, will it work on my 50hz only TV?

I heard this was a standard feature for rated M games but am finding it's not so.  Is there a mature content filter similar to Gears of War 2 that let's you turn off the "gore" and "strong language"?
If not, what is the strong language and how frequent is it?

As far as I know, its not an option in this game. Strong language isn't that frequent, but its still an M-rated game, for obvious reasons.

I got complaints about that my mic is too quiet. What I can do to make my mic to pick my voice better? I dont want to shout so is there any other way to fix this problem?

What kind of mic is it? If its the one that came with your system, I would suggest you upgrade. That is one cheap piece of crapola.

Yes, I use one what came with console, but when I play now. They can hear me, I think I just spoke too quiet.
