yes i will by the sequel i know i said the game sucked at the begining but afterthe first 4 hrs i was really into the game i just hope the online game is better like be able to do coop trough all the quests

Err, your point being? I dont care wether you like me, the game or candy floss. I gave my opinion on the game, just like many others. There was also some fallings out here. Just glad that it stopped. Why I mentioned it.

Anyway, back on topic. I will buy the sequel. The first game had some potential. I just hope that they address this next time around. There are prbably more who will buy the game that have not seen this forum yet. Im gonna give it a chance. It can only get better.

I am not gonna get dragged into an arguement about my opinions or yours. So let it end here. I got better things to do than argue with someone on xbox.com. I cant even be bothered online. I just mute people who annoy me.

The original two worlds was hands down the worst game ive ever played (on any platform). So theres no chance im gonna just go out and buy the sequel as soon as its released.


Ill check out the demo if they release one and ill pay attention to the reviews this time instead of people opinions on this forum. Im still sickened by the amount of people who tried to say two worlds was great, and that it was better than oblivion when it first came out.


If two worlds came out back when i played the PS1 id still give it a miss, its just that broken. But ill definitly look into two worlds 2 once its been released just incase they have learned their lesson this time around.

I'm in. I guess my standards for western RPG's is way low, but the massive wall of problems doesn't really bug me. I'll also be on Sacred 2 day one.

Its all opinion my friend. IMO i see many games on your games played list that i think are alot worse than Two Worlds. I will buy the sequel. The first one is amazing. My only complaints are the framerate, and the loading spasms. It is not better than Oblivion, but it is still a great game. Oblivion is my favorite game on the 360. The first game is good and all. But is in need of some serious patching. Instead, they basically decided to make the patch a sequel. Not fair for those who bought the original game and paid for their development of it. In My opinion, buying it day one is crazy, and will be sending the wrong message. I will buy it for sure, but used from gamestop. As much as I hate to do it, I'd rather give gamestop my money than TopWare/SouthPeak at this point. Unless they release a monster patch for two worlds before TT comes out.

I am going to buy it because it was a great game (even if the writing was pretty bad). Great gameplay, music and graphics.

Yeah, going to buy it.  Really enjoyed the first one.  Just hope the game is more polished this time.

Yes I will buy it if it is like the first game.  I enjoyed the large map that you could roam around in, visiting different areas and towns as you liked.  You were not forced or limited to certain routes.  I really enjoyed this and thought it was a breath of fresh air compared to how maps on most other games work.

I love Two Worlds and can't wait for the 2nd one

I don't even know anything about Southpeak. I don't know their other games, so I can't be a fanboy. Unless you mean a fanboy of two worlds, which is kind of redundant as someone who likes the game would be classed as a fan automatically.

I don't understand why people dislike this game. From what I can see, the negatives are:

Quite bad graphics (not awful - the scenery/weather/environment is good).
Freezing issues
Voice acting and script so bad they're funny (a positive in my book!)
Lame ending

There are a lot of popular games with worse drawbacks than these.

How is the single player any more boring than other RPGs? I'm not trying to start an argument or make you like the game, but I am trying to understand why you think this. I can't comment on the multiplayer as I haven't tried that.

Except for the weak ending I really enjoyed this game.  And I found that installing this game to the hard drive really fixed a great deal of the slow down issues not to mention the occasional lockup.

The only downside to doing this is you will miss 2 cutscenes during the main part of the storyline, but I found it more than worth it.  And you can temporarily delete the game from the drive just to watch the cutscenes when they happen.  It'll be more than obvious when one should of ran.

So will I buy the sequel?  Most likely that's a yes.  I really hope they fix the MOB can't swing at you when its trapped bug.  I killed super powerfull beasties this way without so much as a hit point knocked off.

It was "more boring" because the whole thing felt unfinished and just downright broken. Its not just down to one thing, everything about it was sub par in comparison to other RPGs.

Bad dialog, environmenatal glitches and a pathetic combat system for a third person game.. and yes i know combat is never the main focus in these games, but even by RPG standards this games combat is bad. They'd have been better off making it turn based.

Even so i'll be keeping a eye out for Two Worlds 2.. Except this time i think i'll wait a while and read all of the reviews, and then rent it for good measure.

But how did it feel unfinished or broken? The combat was better than Oblivion, so were the controls. I know that's just my opinion, but so is your post. The collision detection always seems spot on for me. The backjump was a welcome feature. I've played for 49 hours and had no environmental glitches.
