Re: An honest review from a veteran Sonic fan
I haven't had respect for IGN since they became a sellout and had their Silent Hill Homecoming reviewed by possibly a moron who's never played any of the previous games....or only Silent Hill 2. Such complaints were long periods of time doing nothing (which every SH is known for) and too dark (and for a horror game this is bad?).

So honestly don't listen to what IGN says...I suspect they're full of neckbearded idiots who pat themselves on the back after every review knowing they're getting paid for writing openly biased and nonobjective opinions (if I am saying that right).

They're morons.

and no I don't think your posts are too long. I mean jesus, take a look at some of mine. >>

Im a fan of Sonic too and I agree that Sonic Unleashed was a step in the right direction, it goes to show that the 3D Sonic games have a potential to be good games, even though, to be completely honest, I didnt think the 3D Sonic games were that bad in the first place.Remember Sonic Adventure 2?, its was no doubt the best of the 3D Sonic games. Call me crazy but I think Sonic Adventure 2 should be brought onto the xbox live arcade. Afterall, they brough Banjo Kazooie onto the xbox live arcade, and that was for Nintendo 64, so why not bring back a game from the Dreamcast?

very true you should really listen to you're friends advice or try it yourself and not listen to these tards who are to busy whoring over gears of war 2 etc, and yes it was a step in the right direction because they have finally fixed the problem of implementing sonic's true speed into games although i very much dislike the werehog stages i found myself busting through them just to get to the next awesome sonic stage and i dont think they culd port sonic adventures as it is owned by sega, we only got banjo kazooie because microsoft owns Rare and since sega are pretty tight with nintendo atm i seriouly doubt it im afraid.

Just because i rock doesn't mean im made outta stone

Banjo-Kazooie was owned by Rare, the game, the characters, all property of Rare, who now works for Microsoft Game Studios. As for Sonic Adventure 2, more than likely Sonic Team would like to give us that opportunity, but Nintendo are being the dumbass jerks that they are since they have remakes for the Gamecube.

Which has me confused about Donkey Kong 64. Sure Nintendo owns the character, but since Rare owns the game, we'll more than likely won't ever see it released on any console. Not VC, not Arcade, nowhere. That sucks.

Time I made this my 'second home' as far as crowding around with fellow Sonic fans.
I've browsed about the forum and I guess not enough to notice if anyone's given their full opinion of the game. Well, here's mine; written from my page on deviantART!

Mind the language, but I go into full detail as to how I feel that Sonic Unleashed is an excellent step in all the right directions and how I love it.

As we speak now, I am about to hook my 360 back up and play some more and try to get the last remaining medals I have left. ^_^

thank god at least there are some people like you and me and some other people who have the decency to relise that this game has great potential.

Many of the video games I go into playing I have a very open mindset.

I acknowledge the good and the bad. I'm used to actual crappy games *coughFable2* and I know what a REAL letdown is.

Sega has't said anything about the next sonic game (he's just dickin' around with a fat Itallian blumber now.) They probably think less coverage means that it will be better, look at Sonic 06, one of the most hyped up games of the decade and it was the let down of the century. Whereas Unleashed did'nt have any coverage till about 3 months before it released and it was pretty decent.
