Yeah, I played the demo for like 10 seconds before deleting it off of my HDD.

We can be as nostalgic as we want, but this game, like it is, is... well... let's just say there are better alternatives, even blank available space in the hard disk ;)

This game is a classic great and is better than many, many games on XBLA, so stop the hating.

It's a decent game. Not worth 400 points though.

Yeah way of the exploding fist was great, wasn't it Melbourne house that made that one for the C64.

And after that the International Karate games came along on the Amiga, also great games.

 

Way of the Exploding Fist they were the days, the follow up IK+ was one of my all time favourites, pure Classic!!!

 

Actually,Ik+ had nothing to do with way of the exploding fist......Except both are beat-em-ups.

Way of the exploding fist (melbourne house) and international karate (acher mclean,System3) were released on the 8-bit formats (c64,spectrum,etc) round about the same time in the 80s....Both are influenced by karate champ (arcade).

International Karate's sequel (IK+) was also released on the spectrum,c64 etc...........And later converted to the 16-bit computers at the time..... The Amiga & Atari ST.

Both great games back in the day........I also played Imagines (uk) conversion of yie ar-kung-fu on the c64 and spectrum.......This was also a classic back then

first off to the newbs bashing this game... if this game never existed
your beloved fighting games would have never existed either
mortal kombat, street fighter, king of crap fighters etc...
pay homnidge to kung fu master, yie ar kung fu, karate champ, karateka, shaolins road and another other fighting game which existed in the 80s
you may think this game sucks but when you were born of the era and grew up playing it because there was nothing else to play this game was the S***
So what if its not 2 players at once or yadda yadda yadda
it offered different villians.. different attacks and some skill to play it
when you get 200/200 on this let me know
till then keep your mouth shut if your gona bash it
the remake of this game is beautiful
don't like it go cry somewhere else
