The titan pack is loads of fun, however, some may and probably will get tired of the titan mutator pretty quickly. Play Face, with the titan mutator on , someone grabs the flag and at least two people go titan or behemoth, firing homing UD rockets and pounding the ground, and even if you manage to kill them the flag carrier would have already scored or you are met with the big bang gift left behind from the fallen behemoths, or both.

Yeah, I have to say that the the titan mutator is pretty much a gimmick.  I haven't wanted to use it since launch.

yes i agree but the new mode greed is very very very cool.

i hope the people whoever it has to be epic , ms , or both... get their *** together and edit the patch and update the way that makes it work for xbox cuz it sure could use the boost in content.

Just got all the new downloads and updates on ps3 . Really really impressed this a great level of support from a dev. They added split screen to the ps3 aswell.. You can see why they would get peeed of with microsoft. You can pretty much blame them for the lack of support on this game. They wouldnt let us have mods wich are a massive boost with the ps3 . Microsoft are so worried about letting people free with the xbox. i mean even the community games are a nightmare to get up from what i've read.

I've got UT3 for the PS3 as well - but they're mostly playing the same maps / gametypes as on the Xbox. So I still prefer playing on XBL. Keep in mind that the Xbox-version of UT3 was released 9 months after PC/PS3 and already contained some of the patches and maps that came for PC/PS3...

This size limit thing makes no sense to me at all.

1. Left for Dead 2 Demo is over 1GB
2. GTA IV Game Addons TLAD & TBGT are each over 1GB

I think MS plays BFF with some companies...

Yes, but those are add-ons and demos, the patch limit must be different. Epic wanted to release this as the typical auto update games usually get, but the file size was far to big apparently. Would be nice to have this as DLC but it's not likely to happen if it did, we'd most likely have to pay for it.

Just so you know the reason 360 are not getting the titan pack is due to the fact that it is a patch, its got nothin to do with timed exclusives or M$ wanting to charge for it!
Epic released it as a 1.3gb patch for the PS3 and PC as there are no limits on patch sizes as they all come with a HDD, but in the case of the 360 not every console has a HDD so patches are limited to about 10mb max (most are only 1 - 3mb)
But saying that there is a very easy way around this as demonstrated by Creation with Burnout Paradise they released the patches as free DLC on marketplace and just pushed a small title update telling the game to read the DLC patch instead. So if epic just took a leaf out of Creations book then this is how we could get the Titan pack, but I don't see Epic doing this at all!!

It has EVERYTHING to do with MS wanting to charge for the pack. Read up.

Funnily enough i DID read up on it and IF you read up on it properly you will find that it is a rumor that has got out of control as there was a official statement made by EPIC at the time of release of the patch on PC and PS3 explaining exactly why the patch is not likely to appear on the 360.

I'm not trying to step on any toes here but I have been reading the arguments and everyone seems to miss the official statement that was made by Epic and Midway back in march "09 was just pointing out that it was officeally mentioned and the actual reason for not releasing it!!!

Ok then please explain to me why its crap?? Cos I would love to see them get a 1.5GB patch on a arcade system that only has the 16mb flash rom or a 512mb MU!?!

As I explain in my last post it is possible to get the titan pack if Epic did the same as Creation did with Burnout Paradise, but even then people that have the Arcade SKU still can't use the patches unless then went and got a HDD!
