I only get one game in the server list, and no option to request a new one. The instruction manual says there would be a notice posted on battlefield.ea.com within 30 days of retiring the online features, and they didn't do that. They haven't really posted an update about this game since a few days after it came out for the 360, which was 3 years ago...

EA servers are always GARBAGE regaurdless of their title in question ..... worst company .... their online is always buggy, glitchy , and there server is trash ....

I've just bought this game, and basicly I've spent money on half a game, wait no less than that as online is the main thing about BF.

Can they really do this to gamers? Is there not some law to stop it?

Not when they put a disclaimer on their games stating that they can shut down their servers whenever they want. Also, server droppers don't help matters either. :)

What is a server dropper?

Someone who does something with the engineer kit to crash the server and make everyone disconnect.

not really. i suppose if it was your first game and you were pressing random buttons repeatedly and it did it very quickly.

Can't we start a class action lawsuit with any other EA games that have been killed? If nothing else for not posting the warning they agreed to post?

Nope, they say it either in the game manual or on the box that they reserve the right to close their servers whenever they want...so it will be useless filing a suit.
