So I went to MajorNelson's blog and I noticed that CastleCrashers was the number 1 game of the week.  I asked myself "has there been an expansion released?"  Come to find out, this "glitch" seems to be helping out this game even though it looks and sounds annoying/unfair.  I feel sorry for the people that spent countless hours getting to the top on this game to be passed up by undeserving players (I know the feeling, I was on top of the boards in Marble Blast Ultra and got passed by glitchers)  Just my humble opinion...

1. Is this where all those 'Necromancers' came from on the leaderboards? 2. Isn't there something in the rules for XBox Live that says something about 'Not modding/hacking content' or 'Using things not origionally intended for the game'? 3. Using cheats is for something you do after you play the game lots of times through, but even then, should be offline. 4. so keep stealing peoples accounts, keep modding, keep cloning with the glitch
theres a nice list of people who state they mod in their bio
and microsoft bans those people
your being tagged out by behemoth so keep it up

Lol usually the 256 people are the ones who suck at Castle Crashers. I still wish they'd have their characters reset or even better...getting banned. But it'll more than likely never happen.

Oh and I just checked leaderboards. About 14000+ glitchers now....

yea i seen a level 256 not too long. I asked him how he got to that level he says it's magic Angry [:@] microsoft should really do something about this.

Crud, ah well it might happen it might not. Anyway in a few hrs to days the 1 millionth player will be on the leaderboard. last time i checked they were at 984 000.

heres some good news
looks like the old 100 players who were in the top 10-50 are either banned or removed from the game
i dont see the old 100 at the top any more their tags are no where to be found from 1600-1

One of my friends is a 256 glitcher, so I avoid playing with him now. In fact, I've started playing pretty much local co-op only, whenever my friends drop by.

Why would you glitch the game like that? I just don't understand the appeal. Where's the fun in starting with an overpowered character and butchering everything with no effort? You lose the sense of accomplishment completely, which is one of the things I enjoy in my games. And it's not even like Castle Crashers is a difficult game...

Relax, I'm just gonna go in there, step on its neck, and shoot it in the head. Because that's how I roll.

This is my first time hearing of this wow. That's lame. Seems like the leaderboards of a lot of games now are screwed. Look at COD lol! I know I'll never be on the top of any game but still the ones who are legit should get their proper place.

File complaints guys. That's why the systems exists. They really need to start banning and have 0 tolerance because I am paying for this service and agreed to a ToS, like everyone else. Microsoft needs to start cracking down.

I have multiple friends with the 256 glitch.Before they did the glitch i played with them but now...... not so much.
Stupid 256's stop ruining the game!!! All you 256's do is annoy people who dont glitch and mess up the game and leaderboards.

Same here, my friends and i had a perfect time playing with eachother before the glitch exists. But now the game is filled with the 256's.

The game won't be empty. There would still be non hacked profiles playing. I for one who like to see those few thousand -1 accounts closed/banned. However, I don't really have a problem with 256ers playing with me because I only played private games. I stayed away from public games cause there are so many of them.

i was a lvl 99 with my fire knight and i was hella good with castle crasher then i did the glitch now plz dont get mad at me for saying this im not on any sides but everyone does have a different version of fun if u prefer legit then its 99 if u like the modded stuff then its 256 now im starting  to reset my character lvls because i feel guility but if u like it or not the 256s are starting to multiply by the second i dont like it eitheir thats why i am reseting my data also the 256s are getting banned for doing that glith they reset ur data andu get banned for a month ... now plz dont get mad at me for saying what i did but that is just my opinion on this toppic

Completely out of proportion. Some people like having 256 so they can pwn Insane mode. Even then, I know 256's who keep a 99 in case some people say no 256. I have a 41 and a 4. If they take you to the arena repeatedly, then leave! No biggie! If they join your game There is always a kick option. So host a game, ask to not use 256, and if they do, kick! But say sorry first.

the whole point is someone whos been playing arena and is legitly ranked in the top 10 can not be #1 because of people who modded it to be #1

The idiots who are #! usually state in their bio they mod games for ms points
Don't you see anything wrong with this?

All 256's are caused intentionally... cloning or hex editing
It takes the motive and information to do it... it can't be done by accident
The info is saved on a server when you exceed the exp max.. it turns negative
so all -1exp are pure mods since the info saves to a server.

Even if you reset the data you are labeled a cheat
People are and will be banned...

So bottom line is don't do it

Same with the morons who mod their gamerscores and acheivements
having a score over 100,000 puts you up on the banning board if its suspicious
the leaderboards show over 20,000 mods
Thats alot of silver profiles etc that will be getting banned or systems banned

You 256'ers should be taken outta the game for good,even tho it'll probably remove 15000 players,its for the better, the 256 mod is spreading like a virus,every second, a person is making the decision to get 256, even if they know they might get banned for it(and will). If Microsoft did something about this earlier,then we would lose less people, have more fun, AND THE GAME COULD BE PLAYED PROPERPLY!!!

I love CastleCrashers, its one of the best ArcadeGames I have ever played.

But those Cheater using the glitch and so on...it destroys the community..*brr*
And the excitement to get under the best 1000 players....a dream :x !

Well, maybe the 256-Players will be gone after te second CC-Update...
