It must be this April since the posts in that thread are from about a month ago.  I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised.  I thought they'd given up on this a long time ago.

has anyone any new information about this problem?
 i bought Grid two weeks ago and it starts to drive me crazy as well. this is such a great game but it is annoying not to get that single achievement. i thought my update didn't work or something like that because i still don't get this achievement although i also checked every single car twice...

and just to get this right...
there was the problem with the license and stuff >they removed the ferraris>achievement didn't work any longer>they fixed it with a patch>broke it again with the 8 Ball Pack (???) > we are waiting for them to fix it again...

is this correct?

and by the way, i think the 8 Ball Pack is absoluetly useless. i don't like the cars and the new achievements and it is too expensive. no new tracks or Grid-World scenarios so why should i buy this? other online races than touring cars or crash derbies are too rare anyway, so i couldn't even use the new cars often playing online.

yep thats correct we just have to wait..... well you will i have already got it when they fix it the first time but it is still a pain in the bum

it is so annoying this is the last achivement i need and its broken. i also turnt off my xbox whilst it was saving and lost all of my career stats and everything so i will have to do it all over again :(

poor performance from codemasters im sure it only takes a bit of coding and apparently there the masters get it done !!!

Yeah I emailed them the other day and got what I think is the standard reply saying they are working on a patch but are having trouble. They also say they are still working on the next DLC pack but don't have a release date.

I got this game day one (June 3, 2008), and got the cheevo about a month after I had it. I dont know if it makes a difference or not but I never had xbox live when I got it. Maybe when your connected to live it doesn't want to work or something. just a thought

nah its nothing to do with live when the game first came out it was supposed to have Ferrari on there 2 cars but they dropped out last second and codemasters didn't change the achievements but then they updated the game and fixed it and then somehow they released the 8 ball pack and the achievement broke again so now were waiting for an update which i don't think codemasters are really worrying about doing. shame really seeming theres such a huge interest in the game still shame on codemasters !

i hav driven 43 cars and need 2 more to get the achievment but not sure which  ones to drive

have you not been reading this post the achevement is broken it will always read 43 untill its fixed so you cant get it..................foot note Dirt2 is out soon so they may fix it after that comes out ???????????????

I'm not going to buy another codemasters game untill they fix this. Maybe if lots of others do the same, it will become more important to them.

How difficult can this be to fix, really? A tiny update that makes all of us who have driven 43/45 cars get the achievement pop up, sorted.
