A good memory branched off from OXM is when a bunch of the forum guys got together to play SF2 Turbo HD Remix. It was a tournament of epic proportions and was lots of fun.

I remeber that, I think I got two wins.

I remember beating you with Fei Long a lot lol.

In my defence I'm not that good.

You know it was fun though c'mon lol.

Re: Your OXM Memories

THE ENDLESS SETLIST.

What seemed to be going well ended in a terrible moment for Dan when he quit out of the setlist a few songs before the end. OXM isn't stopped that easily though; a few beers and many energy drinks later, they finished the whole list AGAIN and put it behind them. 5 gamerscore was SO worth it.

Love ya guys, happy 100'th!

Besides the one above with the Rock Band thing, it would have to be Dan and Corey always trying to kick each other's a**es. Especially funny when they start to talk trash to each other.

Re: Your OXM Memories
My best memory of OXM is OXM Disc 18. It is my favorite OXM disc of all time. It had a demo for just 1 game. But, it contained a large piece of that game. 2 massive levels. It would become my favorite video game of all time.

If stuck with either OXM Disc 18, or COD4 Modern Warfare, I would pick OXM 18. It was better than most retail games.

Who remembers the game?
Wolfenstein is the greatest game ever made.

Re: Your OXM Memories
Dear OXM, it has been a great run. I haven't been subscribed to OXM since the very beginning, but I immediately fell in love with OXM when I had begun subscribing in February 2005. I haven't missed an issue since and for really good reason. OXM touches certain subjects in the gaming industry that many magazines fail to cover. You cover many burning questions that I hardly find answers to. And for that, I must say that you have provided me with my money's worth.

Although there have been some troubling times (I raged when Rock Band won OXM's Game of the Year 2007) and I really do disagree with your reviews sometimes, I overall respect and love you OXM.  It has been a great and exciting journey, and I continue to support you as you continue delivering detailed articles in the future.

Congratulations on hitting 100 issues, and I give my best wishes for the future.

Sincerely,

Philip V.  (Axe Argonian)

Re: Your OXM Memories
Dear OXM,
I have been a bif fan for a very long time.  I have come to trust and depend upon your reviews as a way to save me both time and money.  My fondest memory was when you included a game of Hide N' Go Seek  for Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind amongst the content of you disc.  I thought that it was a great way to share some of the fun and spirit of Morrowind, with your loyal audience.  What a great way to use technology, I would love to see more inovations among the disc.

Re: Your OXM Memories
I would not necessarily classify this memory as "grumpy" or even negative but the one vivid memory I have of OXM is the hype surrounding the release of Brute Force. I believe OXM referred to Brute Force as "The Next Halo" on a cover in 2002. Considering the impact Halo had on me I was thirsty for another great game in this genre. Needless to say, Brute Force did not live up to the hype. I believe the lukewarm reviews lead to the eventual demise of Digital Anvil.

I remember playing this one, but I forgot which issue. What would we do without Google? :-) http://xbox.ign.com/objects/640/640076.html

Re: Your OXM Memories
Pretty late to the party, but my OXM memory is the day Ryan's Call of Duty World at War review came out. That was the day I knew I wouldn't renew. Also, the constant fawning over Mirror's Edge didn't hurt the decision. Is Paul in love with digital Faith or something? Oh and the relegation of Rainbow 6 Vegas to the very end of the top 100 list. Really? 3 more issues. I'm counting down.
