Im on  lvl 2 just before the spider havetn blocked so far but just wanted to check incase mate

You can block all you want just make sure you don't couterattack.
I really had to force myself to run away (specially if one of those runts hit me!). Also somehow I felt the urge to save at every save point and to visit a shop when I saw one; DON'T! I only saved at point where you either had to fight or it was safe. Same story with the shops; when you don't need anything (IS or ninpo) just run by.

 

Nice tip mate will bear that in mind about the shops aswell just find it hard sometimes hitten ppl coz i miss the button when trying to cast a ninpo.

Yep, know what you mean. For some reason it happend to me more when I tried to cast a Void ninpo than when I used Inferno. (don't know why though).

What I'm still not sure about is when you hit someone if you can let yourself die and just continue. I think it should be ok cuz it will load your last save, but when I hit someone I quit the game and reloaded the last savepoint. (because I was unsure)

Mate im at level 6 lycanthorpes castle just need to get the key so i can get on the roof any tips on how to get all the way around to get the key since you need to kill all the rock scorpions before you get the box?

 

Also some tips on how to beat Elizabet and Zendonous would appreciate it mate

 

Would like to confirm that using IS on Alexs does work when he does that whirlwind move so whoever gave that tip thanks alot. I got past him with only using the devil mushrooms and a talisman

Not sure I know exactly what you mean (cuz there are 3 keys in chapter 6); do you mean the fight after you jump off the flagpole through a window? Cuz that's a fight you have to fight; I used wind-ninpo and IS to get trough that part (or charged wind shuriken if you're out of IS).

For Elizebet I used Inferno. But don't use it while she's in the air cuz she'll dodge it (maybe except when she's casting that bloodheart thing). Best time is when she's walking towards you with an air like she can't be touched (we'll see!). She won't dodge em then.
Zedonius is Void-ninpo again; also wait untill he's on the ground.

Yeah fought inferno was best for her but wanted to make sure all the tips are helping so far i have 348.000 essence aswell dont need to buy much just one talisman so far and sum devils mushrooms

As sooN as I got in the first big hall where the werewolves come, I just all the way to the armor room. Soonas I entered I turned around and all the WW should still be chasing you and all try to cram in the door. With them all lined up I use a full powered AoPV Ninpo and took em' all out with one shot.

I then used the Wind Ninpo and IS on the scorpions.

Ok, I see. What I did was just to rush through all the rooms without fighting. Also the last room where you find the key (if you walk through the door you'll be in the main hall again). If I recall it right that will despawn a lot of the previous enemies (not sure though). You will have to back to that last room (the doors stay open) cuz you're gonna have to fight a couple of them (water demons) so they drop the key. Same routine as usual; wind-ninpo and IS-spamming.

Also found out Volf can be hit by IS but its only when he does that growling thing I caught him a few times with them not entirely sure it is was all luck but :P i will take beating him anyways

I just waited till he was on the ground and did hid fireball move. he now shoots four fireballs at you so if you hit it right away as soon as he gets ready to throw the first one, you should always hit him. I used the Void Ninpo and took him out.

Best to wait with the ninpo untill he's down on the ground. I had to give him a number of tries aswell cuz you need a little luck with the ninpo-hits.

And good luck trying to get past Genshin and Elizebet! Specially Genshin (never reached Elizebet). After several tries I only managed to get 1 IS to stick to him! I got fed up with it and figured it would take me more time to try and get past him than just pick a weapon and mince him (and her). Gives you a chance to get acquainted with the new weapon.
But Kudos if you can get past them!

Yep, that's what I thought, then I ran out of IS about ten times only hitting him once and called it a day.
Don't worry about the weapons;  it's Acolyte so every weapon deals a ton of hurt if you get a good combo in.
And I was actually pleasantly surprised by the flails , which I hadn't used before cuz they were shait in NGB for anything other than bats.

Well, Volf is easy (inferno-blast him) and then you get to the tough part; Chapter 13! Most fights you have to fight here and specially the meatsacks part can be difficult cuz there's little room to manoeuvre and there are 3 spiders to get by and then you get Alexei again.
So be ready to get frustrated again lol! (and hang in there!)

I tried to do the 'hit all sacks and run' but it didn't went so well; Ryu kept hitting enemies as I was trying to hit a sack, so I did it by fighting. Ignore the sacks you don't have to destroy; like the one on the right as you enter the place! It has a spider in it....just leave it in there!
Also for the fist part I saved after every succesfull sack-kill. (but that's over when you have to jump in the hole).
You have to use ninpo for the spiders and there is a red essence box before you face Alexei but no shop so don't waste ninpo. And since you figured out a way to hit Alexei with IS you might wanna save them as well (meaning doing the killing with the wind-shuriken).

All weapons fully upgraded mate  so thats not the worry but thanks for the tip once im back home from work will probs give it a go tomorrow and see how i get on once this is done its mentor then Mn lol if i make it that is

Mate got all the achievements thanks alot for your help and yeah didnt get too many hits on genshin with the IS so just stopped the same place as you. My net is down the now so cant updatet he achievements but thanks a bunch all the tips worked a treat

Just hang in there mate; after the first 2 chapters (and the beginning of 3) it will get easier.

My advise; upgrade the claws to Lv2 as soon as you can (before the DS) for it's Izuna (jump, YXY). It's a 1 attack kill for all the rocket and IS ninja's. 

 

Funny thing; I'm going through Mentor again at the moment (with all upgrades) but I find it really easy this time round; ch.5 at the moment and died only three times (with items to spare but just not willing to spend them).

I tried Warrior first (cuz I wanted to practice with a few weapons) but that was just TOO easy so I switched to Mentor.

 

Just gut it out the first couple of chapters mate. There are plenty posts with tips and tricks for the Mentor and MN run and how to fight bosses.

No I didn't farm Mentor (didn't even know about it then).

I did farm MN and it made it al lot easier. I had less trouble on MN with farming than on Mentor without farming (in the first levels that is)

Help w/ Genshin on level 2. He blocks all my ninpo and secondary attacks. I saw someone mentioning "IS". Is that a special move or are you referring to the incendiary shurikens? If so, he blocks them. Is there a special timing ot it?
