Re: Disk 4 Easy Lvling and I mean EASY
You'll get more SP from Numara Atoll.  A silver kelolon gives 8 without double SP and they regularly appear in 2's  - 32SP per battle, very nice.

There is a quest in Tosca Village that will give you Gamble.  On the top floor of the Inn, there is a girl who wants you to put wreaths around the Kelolon statues in the village.  If you get all 16 (pretty sure on the number) in the allotted time the reward is Gamble Spell (Spirit Magic) plus the other rewards from getting less than all statues.

For the locations of the statues check here, or watch this.

The video quality is pretty crappy, but it gets the job done.

Alright. begining of disk 4. go to gongora's mansion in Urah, go to the left door where the Royal Seal is. Break it, go down stairs and there is only one kind of monster down there. Mechanical monsters.

Just equip anti-dizzy and anti-petrify and kick their ***.

All characters will LVL UP each battle until Sed learns Double EXP, then the will level up each turn until they hit 49.

And at 49 you will learn the highest lvl of White Black and Spirit magic so you can make ming and sarah learn each in 4 battles. With Sed's Double SP you get 10 SP per battle.

This will make disk four, or at least the part i've beaten of disk 4 very easy.

Aparently the Hellish Kelolons in Temple of Enlightenment can level you up to the 90's??? Can anyone confirm this?

I found beating one of them fairly easy, when there's two it can be a bit annoying at times though. My mortals always die.

I leveled off of these until around 88-89.  Didn't see much point to level any further, so I'm assuming you can level all the way to 99 off of the Hellish Kelolons.  One of these still gave me a level up every fight at that point.

Last night, I went into the Temple of Enlightenment to see about how long it would take to level up all my characters to 99 (I've heard there is a secret ending if all your guys are at 99). I got a little to good at killing the Hellish Kelolons.  On two occasions, I killed one in the first turn.  After those two battles, I noticed that all of my characters only got one experience point.  It seems that you have to take at least two turns during the battle in order to fill the experience bar after the battle.  Anybody else notice this?  It seems I am too efficeint at killing these guys...

Have you tried Installing Disc 4 onto your HD? On Disc 4 for me it would tend to freeze up after a few battles then I installed it and havent had any problems since.

You learn Anti-Petrify from the Yellow Band found in the Sea of Baus and later you can buy it....

This isnt correct, the Medusa's Head gives you Anti-Petrify, the Stabilizer gives you Anti-Dizzy.

The Yellow Band has Anti-Paralysis.

Ugh my Edit Post time expired while I was editing it..

Oh and I wanted to add something my friend Kallisto was grinding for tons of hours when I'd check her progress through the friend list on xbl when she was playing her Lvs were in the 40's on disc 2, could you imagine how long you'd have to play only getting 1% exp per battle just to level once and doing that as many times as you need to get to 40 on Disc 2! Man.. When I last checked she has everyone up to L99. And her gameplay hours were well into the 100's.

Right Now I have my immortals and Sed at Lv49, just need to get the rest of the mortals to 49.

I think I was Lv33 or 34 on the Train Bosses.
Be sure tto have Sarah in the Back Row, Kaim in the front. I also had a good amount of skills on them. Use Grounda to cause more dmg. I dont recall what skills I have but likely ones that rediced magic and element dmg and some Anti-Status skills. Give Kaim an Earth Ring as well.

They were pretty difficult but I had some good Machine Killer rings, and plenty of skills equiped.

Be sure that Sarah can cast both Offensive and Defensive spells. Grind in Dungeons prior until the exp you get is reduced to 1%. You'll be wanting to learn those skills from stuff you've found lately it may come in handy.

If you're having problems with the BlackCave try the Sorceress Mansion, if you're only getting 1% there and havent gone beyond the BlackCave yet, only place to level is the BlackCave, I would suggest sticking near the entrance and leaving when you feel like your characters need to rest, be sure to equip Seth or Mack with Turntail so you can runaway if need be. You should be around Lv28 before leaving the BlackCave.

Honestly, the Numara Atoll tips are the best answer to grinding; Black Cave is - what? - disk 2.  You can start leveling at Numara Atoll and easily get every character up to level 40 before you get Sed and Tolten.  As an example, my characters were leveled to 42 when I got to the frozen Gohtza area, and they were leveled right around 50 when I went to the Temple of Enlightenment ( I completed the optional bosses and the Temple of Enlightenment right after completing the Great Ancient Ruins... ).

Someone touched on the strategy for defeating silver kelolons... I'd like to add just a little bit to that strategy.  You may find that you are unable to cast gamble before they flee.  Skill link Casting Support to Kaim and Seth and make sure that you have two mages that have at least Level 3 or 4 (can't remember which) Spirit Magic.  You may have to equip accessories.  Use the skill "casting support" on your GAMBLE characters and they will be able to get Gamble off before the silver kelolons take off.  You should hopefully kill at least one of them.  Do this before getting Sed and you'll get 16 SP every time you kill two of them.  If you grind for about two hours as soon as you acquire Gamble, then you should be able to level to about 40 or so before you begin requiring multiple battles with SKs to level.  Just make sure that you run from the Hell Shakers.  Might want to use the "Turn-Tail" skill to ensure that you do not fight them in your Twenties...

It's lame, but worth it.  But then again, the game is really easy (except for the Temple of Enlightenment) with your characters leveled.  So the game gets kind of boring.  That's vintage RPG for you, I guess.

I didnt stick around in Atoll for fighting but I did nab the items that I could while there, if you go there put turn tail on Mack and Seth have both in your party if you get encountered have both of them use it they are the fastest characters in the group.

I've got everyone to just about Lv50. But havent entered the Great Ancient Ruins yet.

Atoll Has these two things that you can nab early:
Bronze Spirit Band (teaches Lv2 Spirit Magic), and the Regenerate Spell. After you get the ship go there and loot them first before proceeding to your next destination, you might find Regenerate useful later on.
