These are questions you should ask me over live. The add-ons it should ask you somewhere at the top to download them. For a wireless controller you need a reciever. I'm not sure where one would be where you live. Check your local shop.

Well shadowrun works at the minimum with huge delays. My windows experience Is 4 (the minimum recommended) just a few tweaks now

When did teleporting into the opposing spawn at the very start of the game become okay?  I haven't played in awhile but my friend has been using my account to play SR (If you see me online and I'm not a Dwarf with rez first round its not me playing) lately.  Earlier I sat down and decided to play a match.  As soon as the match began within a second or two the whole blasted enemy team was in our spawn taking out the stragglers and us who were trying to guard them.  I just want to point out that I remember a time where if someone busted straight to the enemy spawn to get some cheap kills we would kill them next round and clear them.  What happened?

So something we found cheap before is now totally okay?  Like I said before we used to betray the dudes that did that.  Even people I never played with before understood that rule.  What happened?

Umm, I am guilty of this.  Each player gets like 10 seconds to buy and  map abilities and roughly another 10 - 15 seconds before the other team can make it to their spawn, not sure why they would need more time.  I'll often zip into the other teams spawn point chuck a grenade and chase after someone who just left left that area (and hopefully this person has no clue I am behind them).  Plus, I have been killed dozens and dozens of times the same way by others.  I honestly never heard anyone complain about it.

On one hand if someone left their controller to go somewhere it sucks to be them, free kill.  But on other I see your point.  My general strategy when not playing with friends or a team friendly group is to get behind people usually from rushing their spawn and running in a direction I think they are.

Someones Community Level Dropped from 4 to 3. Uh oh.

I know people get that much time but as you know just from playing this game there are always stragglers.  People who had to wait for others to give them a click, or the guys who join late and have so much cash they are trying to build their set up in that short time frame.  I know it takes a bit of time on some maps (not all) to quickly zip across the map and into the other teams spawn so yeah if there are guys who aren't AFK and chilling there kill them but the guys who are AFK it was always kind of known rule to me and anyone I seemed to role with (even randoms we get paired up with in publics) that you leave them there until they're the last one(s). Give everyone a fair chance to play I guess was the reason behind it but its not like it was a rule we came up with it just came naturally.  Gentlemanly I guess.  H*ll i've been afk before and I've come back to see people waiting for me to move then they killed me.  I thought it was fair.  They gave me a chance to do something at least.

You can't really expect people to ignore you chilling at the start point once the round starts. I don't go out of my way to kill stragglers but if you're still standing there by the time I get there you're dead without a second thought. Sorry but there is no such thing as being a gentleman in FPS games, it's quite silly to think otherwise really.

I GOT MY PC RUNNING AGAIN WHOOT!!!  Who knew all I needed to get it running again was Windows 7.  Why it wouldn't except Vista or XP (Yeah if I tried to install either of those OS' the computer would blue screen) is beyond me but now that my PC is running I can play Shadowrun on PC again and I'm going to grab some other Windows live games if anyone's interested.

It's nice to hear your computer is running, and yes Windows 7 is a great O/S, but I am inclined to think you may have some underlying hardware issues if you were unable to get XP or Vista to run on your system.

If you can run a memory test diagnostic, and possibly a hard drive test.  It doesn't make sense that this would happen.

but I suppose you can enjoy the ride and wait for an error to show.  If it does however, post any errors you get, and if you get blue screened, write down all the error codes and any specific messages it gives you as well.

Yes I been doing that and it doesn't always seem to come up with the same errors.  Sometimes it tells me my RAM is bad "IRQL_IS_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TOO".  Or sometimes it only reads that I have about half of my RAM.  Although now that I have 7 running it says all 6GB of my RAM is there.  My 500 GB harddrive is totally boned though (It won't communicate with anything and I've only been able to detect it once since it broke) so I have to buy a new one so I guess i'll just spend the $73 to get a 1TB. So right now the computer is running with an old 40GB harddrive I scavenged out of an old Compaq Presario.  Yeah surprisingly the computer had plug in for an old ATA like that.

Oh it only blue screened if I tried to install XP (I tried this after Vista Corrupted and since I couldn't find my boot disk) and it gave me an error in the system 32 files.  Something that had to with Service package 2 or system package or something.  So I put Linux on a disk and ran the computer off of that and It wouldn't let me deleted that package.  And the IRQL error was a blue screen aswell.

Yeah but I've been steeling myself to find out if I have a motherboard problem because that was my first guess but then again I bought a dell computer (stupid me) when I opened this thing up I wasn't too surprised to find that somethings weren't installed correctly like the sound card not being in the correct slot but at least my speakers work now I used to have to plug in earbuds directly into the computer to hear anything.

I just hope this computer works its d*mn near top of the line and I spent almost a grand on it.  The d*mn thing has 8 CPU's and each CPU has 4 cores.  My CPU usage is always like 0%-2% when I look.  The graphics card is good I can't remember exactly what it is a GEForce something or other.  I mean I love this rig and I hope it doesn't fail me again.

I'm leaning towards motherboard or memory issues with your computer.  It just doesn't make sense that you get these kinds of errors after fresh installs, UNLESS you need to install specific drivers for your motherboard, but didn't, and those drivers might be available in the Windows 7 database, but not in XP or Vista's.

the computer originally came with vista installed.  Plus I forgot to mention that it wouldn't except windows 2000 either.  I tried windows 98 as well but it told me I had insufficient RAM I'm just going to go out on a limb and say 98 just couldn't comprehend the idea of 6GB of RAM.

Can you explain in a little detail what you mean by wouldn't accept the install?

By this I mean does it simply not install, or does it install and it freezes after installed etc.

Maybe a more detailed account of what is happening might help me narrow down the problem.

Vista it didn't except at all that just wouldn't re install period.  XP well it would go through the installation and then it would restart and then finish up the process well about half way through that It would just sit their and freeze.  I left it on like that to see if it would ever finish.  Yeah it sat like that for 3 days not doing anything.  More frequently though it would just blue screen before we even got that far.   I'm not worried to much anymore though since the rig seems to be functioning just fine now.

Of the last 12 games I have played I have only finished 10 of them.  Is it my router or are there a lot of quitters?  I never get disconnected in other games, but SR has been a pain lately.
