Picked up my copy of ODST today and have beaten the campaign on normal. Anyone up for some firefight and co-op? Been a long whiles since I played much Halo 3 multiplayer, but with the Halo3 Multiplayer disc that came with it with all the maps I might get back into that too.

Where'd you pick it up from? And you've beaten the campaign already? Was it too easy?

Also, not too many people would have it yet, but I'll be keen to play it with you next week

I promised I wouldnt say which store gave it to me. Anyway, it was a fun campaign, and I didnt collect all the audio files, and I'm missing a couple of the achievements you get in campaign, but it wasn't too easy. It was different. Put it that way. Although IMO alittle short for a straight campaign run through, though ofcourse people will disagree with me as they always do :) I wouldnt say I rushed it. But I didn't really go out of my way to "explore the whole city". I really think co-op will shine though.

I do disagree with you. The recommended difficulty to play on is Heroic. Easy and Normal are for the casual gamers but if you want to play properly, then go Heroic. And if you want to challenge yourself, go Legendary.

only just got back into halo 3, and never played live before so i'm slowly trying to get my skills (back) up.  i'm not too bad, obviously with more online play i'll get better but it's hard finding people to play with when you're ranked so low and your mates who are on xbox live have run out of gold membership haha.  should be getting odst within a week of it coming out. don't have the preorder yet, debating whether or not to get it off ebay or at jb hifi.

count me in for this, but please forgive me if i suck *** for the first few weeks.

I'm starting on heroic now. But if your a little unsure I definatly recommend beginning on normal. There were a couple times there where even normal was a bit of a challenge. Save easy for the achievement looting lol.

I thought you had a pirate copy because there was no gamerscore in your ODST thingo. Then I checked your Halo 3 achievements and saw you got the skulls. Where they easy to find?

Spend a bit of time hunting them but not too long. Also, on the final level of legendary. Still pretty easy to blitz through the game. Though the last level is a bit of a ***.

Carbine = Covenant BR. And the "pros" don't use over shields or a motion tracker, both of which aren't in ODST, so they should do better than the people that have relied on a motion tracker and overshield for survival.
