Very informative thread. I got Luxor as part of an Arcade Sampler but haven't tried it yet. Love Zuma, however, so am anxious to give this one a spin.

Pharaoh of the Two Lands 280,000,000... OMFG, are you serious????!!!!

I'm trying to get all 200/200 on my Arcade Disk... already done with Pac-Man (pretty easy)... almost donde with Boom Boom Rocket and Feeding Frenzy but this Luxor... is going to take like forever!

I started in expert, hoping that it'll unlock the easy and medium achiev... now that I know that won't happen, I think I'm gonna shoot myself -_- , already on level 9 (expert)

Yup this game has some very time consuming achievements.  I don't know if I will ever get the 280 million.  I currently have about 60 million and with half of expert and horus mode to go I doubt that I will have much more than 100 million when I have finished.

Beware that the game ramps the difficulty up from level 10.  Level 12 Normal is probably similar to Level 8 Expert so I imagine its going to get fairly tough soon.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that! This is why I tend to start playing games on the lowest difficulty, even though it's nearly always mind-numbingly easy. Some developers are sadistic lol.

Hmm I just completed stage 9, so hard... So if I am in stage 10 (expert), maybe I'll be able to complete normal and easy difficulty with no problem... I hope so lol

I saw that some people have used the Pharoahs Challange mode and taped there controller A button down and left it shooting daggers all night.  Seems a little pointless but may be the least painful way to get the last achievement if you are really wanting it.

My next most practical step is to use my kids.  "Hey kids look at this game, sit here until you earn me 280,000,000 "

Nice guide. Been looking everywhere, and found this. Just threw in the game, and started playing without reading anything, and my game was suddenly over at stage 10-7. Figured I would search for what I did wrong. LOL
