Q: When will the next Elder Scrolls title be released?

A: As of now, there is no official release date, but a Dev at Bethesda mentioned something "penciling in" a title for 2010. Read about it here.

Bethesda said that was fake.
I'm not requesting anything be changed unless you provide a pink as a reference.

Yeah... I asked for one too.

It's been 5 days now and he still hasn't given one to anybody.

I'm calling BS on it if I don't get a reply in two days.

Embarrassed [:$]Sorry, I can't find it right now, but if I find it again I will post it here.

Re: Commonly Asked Questions/Answers

I just picked this game up the other day and I have a few questions. What purpose do the books that i've come across serve? Do I need to keep them? Also where is the cheapest house to buy located, or is it better to just buy one of the ones off the marketplace?

Welcome to Oblivion. All you new guys are so lucky! You get to experience everything for the first time!Certain books that you read can increase your skills. Click here to learn more about them. Now for the houses I suggest that you buy the shack in the Imperial City.It only costs 2000 and is the cheapest. But you can choose your house out of these .And also I suggest you dont buy a marketplace home just yet because it will ruin the feeling of the game.Get a house off the marketplace once you complete the main quest.

Yea.I suggest that you use alchemy a lot and just make random potions/poisons.Then go off to some alchemy shop and sell them. And also, another good way to make money is to go dungeon crawling and kill bandits. They usually have good loot.Something else you should do is get your level higher. Here is a more in depth description of armor. And lastly, you can do the Arena fights and you get a lot of money for those.

Be patient. You won't make much money until you start climbing in level.

Like Fallout, the game does not feature multiplayer, so there should be no surprise there.

There was supposed to be some sort of Fallout MMORPG and it was supposed to be Interplays job to bring that title to the table. They failed to deliver the goods and in result Bethesda had planned to file a lawsuit against them in order to obtain the rights to make the game.

There was never an update on that situation.

However, quite a few months ago, Zenimax Media,  (the company that owns Bethesda) announced a new division of their company, Zenimax Online Studios. The company is going to tackle any MMORPG/online titles that are brought forth. This would include Fallout.

It's when a thread will stay in one place. Normally at the top of the list. No matter how inactive it is. Normally Mods do this for helpful/guide threads. Like this thread. It's always at the top. It never moves down.

How high is your endurance? And magic doesnt increase by leveling up, it increases by you adding points to intellegence.

Re: Pharen pwnt my FAQ! Time to write the llongest FAQ EVER. - :)
On the subject of Alchemy, the ingredients for a basic potion of restore fatigue (lets say and apple and a lettuce) will cost you about 4 gold. The very lowest level of restore fatigue potion you can make at the very beginning of the game will then sell for 11 gold if my recollection is correct so you can see straight away the massive profit to be made from alchemy.

Specifically what I recommend you do is every couple of days or so buy up all of the cheap ingredients at the Feed Bag, Jensines, the Main Ingredient and the tavern located in the Market district of the Imperial City. There will be a couple of hundred ingredients for sale between these four shops which will allow you to make literally dozens of potions which you can then sell on for a mark-up of about 150% on what you paid for the ingredients in the first place.

At the beginning of the game this will allow you to make a couple of grand or so profit if you empty all four shops of all their ingredients but later on in the game after you have purchased higher levels of alchemic equipments such as a journeyman, expert or master mortar and pestle the mark up on you potions will increase massively.

I currently have a Journeyman mortar and pestle and expert level alembic, calcinator and retort. the minimum two ingredients for a potion of restore fatigue still cost the same 4 gold but the potion now sells for something like 23 gold because of its increased potency meaning I am making something like 600% profit on every potion I sell. Additionally, If you reach level 100 for alchemy thus allowing you to make potions from a single ingredient this effectively doubles that profit margin again.

Also note that alchemy is not only the best way to make cash quick but also one of the most effective ways to 'power level' your character if you choose it as one of your primary skills - which you should always do.

I loved The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion!Big Smile [:D] It is my number 1 game of all time! I clocked in 300 hours and I got my copy a day before Easter of 2009.(I got my copy late because I was not into Action-RPGs at the time) I am still exploring the world of Oblivion and ever time I play this game, I am amazed! Every video gamer should pick up a copy of Oblivion!
