I don't see the point in buying a $60 version of a game thats already on 360 for $20 with added co op. Guess its just me.

Well for starters, its not just co-op, they added a bunch of new levels, scenarios and boss battles that aren't over here. Plus all the DLC from over here is already packed in it.  Supposedly they're going to put some more stuff up on PSN  but I'm not too concerned with that.  Also they fixed a bunch of bugs that plagued the Xbox one.  Oh and who said I'm paying 60 bucks?  LOL
I haven't paid $60 for a game in quite some time, lololol.
I own the original NG for the old Xbox and STILL bought Sigma 1 on PS3.  Its such an awesome game that I wanted the next-gen version.
Not to mention, I sold my 360 version for said $20, when I found out a better one was on the way.
But the moral of the story is: To each his own bro.

Why is it in Mulitplayer games players always take the same routes and never change anything.  If you play the same multiplayer game long enough you can predict exactly what your enemies are going to do.  Very rarely players think outside of the box when playing an online game.  I understand some things are limited to the design but more and more players are becoming very robotic in how they play a multiplayer game.  Is it lack of thought?  Is it routine?  Or maybe, players just develope a comfort zone and don't want to step outside that area...

I think it's more of that second thing, the developing a comfort zone. For instance, in Halo 3 on Construct I only go to 3 places (each of the teleporters on the third floor) because I feel more competent in the battle. Also, I know there's always something happening in those three places.

I want to get this off my chest as my last post on the OXM boards.  I think some people need to lighten the h3ll up and stop taking everything so personal.  I noticed how some people on here tend to think everythings directed at them. Where I'm from that's called paranoia.

Peace out OXM, this forum took a huge dive.

That's a brutal kick in the balls to the community. There is nothing but Xbox chat goin' on -- I don't see the issue in breaking that up with general socializing amongst our tight-knit group of forum hounds. Dictating what can and can't be talked about is weird.

@Redwards obviously I cannot post this in the other thread because mods hate that we have lives that dont involve xbox.

I thought that all the fights except the co main and main event were great (go figure). I was pleasantly suprised by Okami vs Sonnen, which was my favorite fight of the night. And I think that Rothwell vs Velasquez could have been great if Steve Mazagatti wasn't such a moron.

Rua is getting an immediate rematch with Machida though so he might be able to redeem the decision then!

I really want Dragon Age, but I limited myself two 3 games this half of the year. I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on Brutal Legend. What a disappointment. MW2 is the last one I can get. Can't wait.

Agreed 100%.  Are we supposed to preface each post with "I heart XBOX!!1!1!"?

Recently, I was listening to some video game music on a link a friend sent me and it got me to thinking... what happened to the amazing songs in games?

For wonderful check out:
Chrono Trigger- Corridors of Time

Civilization 4- Baba Yetu

Goldeneye 007- Chemical Warfare Facility (God that beat.)

The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker Theme by Fredde Gredde
(Also one of the most amazing Youtube Videos I've ever seen.)

Mirror's Edge- Shine

Ragnorak Online 2- Din Don Dan Dan Fo

Sonic the Hedgehog- Dreams of an Absolution

And my two personal favorites:
Earthworm Jim 2's - Lorenzo's Soil

and

Super Metroid's - Brinstar Overgrowth Area

So yeah.. what happened to that amazing music games used to be known for?

I'd like to get it off my chest that it's totally lame that Joe is gone. Oh yeah, and I'm so glad I own an Xbox 36o and absolutely no other video game system, and I will only ever by Microsoft products because they are the only ones to have!!!!  Uncharted and Killzone can go jump in the lake for all I care (actually the beach level in Killzone's multiplayer is possibly the most fun I've ever had in multiplayer...but don't tell the mods I said that.)

After playing Borderlands, I really think that an MMO could succeed on consoles.  It couldn't be nearly in depth as World of Warcraft, but it could be deeper than Borderlands.

I definitely agree. Just looking at my friends list, I see that nearly everyone bought the game. I think it gives us 360 owners the feel of an MMO that we obviously want, but no one has been ballsy enough to give. Hopefully someone will finally do it.

Understood. I also shouldn't have to eat at Taco Bell for a week straight for him to come back, but I will if he says it'll work (and I'll start today just in case. I'd better warn my family)

On the topic of mmos: They could use something similar to the Dragon Age interface. Have tasks hotkeyed to the X, Y, B, and RT+X, Y, and B. And then have a selection wheel where you have the rest of your tasks.

The thing I hate about MMOs is that I always feel like it sucks that I am paying to continue to play something I already bought. If you suddenly can't afford the extra expense you can't play something you already own.
