Re: Is this game worth buying?
Thanks for all the advice. Im itching to get hold of a copy now. I was playing Oblivion last night, as its the closest I'll be to it for now lol. I did get Borderlands, but there is nothing RPG about it. So you can level up wooo. Yeah, Im being sarcastic. But its not in anyway an RPG. Seriously disappointed by that. So I'll sell that to fund Morrowind.

I shall post again once I have the game and let you all know how I am faring with it. Once again, thanks for the advice.

Yeah, i'm having alot of fun with Borderlands, but it was very much misrepresented as an action RPG. It's really just a FPS with the ability to level your character with different strengths, but not exactly an RPG by any measure.

Totally misrepresented. It comes across ok to me, but I prefer full on RPG games. That as long they are an open world adventure so I can explore everything.

Even stated a new game on Oblivion for the time being so I can wait to sell Borderlands on eBay. I still find new stuff in Oblivion, and this is my 7th start on a playthrough since I got the game. I just love the game, and Im eagerly awaiting Morrowind, as I have heard nothing but good reviews about the game. Also got Fallout 3 to keep me going as well. Which is my only other game that I own. I tend to get bored easily with games that only offer a few levels of excitement, and nothing afterwards.

Hey all you guys. I used to be G420SxHipposx Thanks for the advice on Morrowind. Came yesterday, but had to sign up my new profile to XBL for the patch to play it. What an awesome game. Graphically not as good as Oblivion, but I dont care. What a fantastic game!! I am gonna enjoy giving up my life for this lol.

Glad you like it. I'm guessing you have Fargoth's ring and Galdiber's exquisite lime platter plus all her soul gems, and now you are looking for a place to sell all that stuff to? Soon you'll be pilfering a complete Masters set of alchemy equipment. Ah, the good ole days, when all this was brand new!

Well, I got the ring, kept it lol, then headed out of town and found 3 slaves to free in the underground bit. BUt only got hour in as I had work. Shame, but I need the money. Any advice as how to get some gold quickly, and how not to die really quickly. I know the combat is the hidden dice roll thing, and I dont mind. Except I couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards with a cows backside at the moment! Getting owned already lol.

For quick cash and some fighting experience i'd suggest staying in and around Seyda Neen for a bit. You can practice fighting on mud crabs and do a few quests. One of the quests is obtained in the tradehouse, but since you kept Fargoths' ring it won't be quite as rewarding. There is a murdered tax collector on a nearby Island, and you might stumble accross a corpse containing Scrolls of Icarian Flight, (if you know where to go you can witness the crash that kills him.)

After that i'd head to the Caldera Mages Guild and steal the alchemy set in the storage room. Then do some quests for the Fighters guild, Mages guild and Thieves guilds in Balmora as well as the Great House of your choosing. For Hlaalu go to Balmora, Redoran is in Ald R'uhn and Telvanni is in Sadrith Mora. You can fast travel to any of those locations using the Mages Guild teleport services.

Also, when you join a faction like the mages and fighters guilds you can take items from the supply chests which is a good way to get health potions, armorers hammers and scrolls of Divine Intervention, etc...

This might sound complicated at first, but you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Re: Is this game worth buying?
Cheers for the advice. Im gonna start again, and do the quest for the ring. Another person has told me to give it him, and said that there are quests in the town, which I never knew. I'll pick the game up eventually like I did with Oblivion.

I cant wait to get into it, but it'll probably have to wait for a while as Im out of work, and cant afford to pay rent. Oops. At least my girlfriend said I can move in with her, only problem is she lives 230 miles away lol. But I'll give it a real play when I move.

Cheers for the help.

yeah get the ring and go give it to him and then steal it back lol...but the thing that everyone has to remember is to get the quest from another guy for it...you get the ring, you get a trader with high disposition for you, and you get some money for it...everyone wins lol
