I'm reading some puzzling stories about the XBox 360's distribution. The one on IGN yesterday, suggesting that it may be as late as April, before supplies are widely available. My current financial situation is going to prevent my purchase of one until March anyway. The way the IGN story reads, I might have trouble getting one then!?
Meanwhile, the wait is being made easier by a quality selection of games I already have for the XBox. Links 2004, NCAA Football 2006, TOCA Race Driver 2, Winning Eleven 8, and Inside Drive 2004 are still amazing and entertaining. I still hope Links 2004 makes the backwards compatibility list, especially if it means that it will be bumped to 720p resolution.
I don't know why I'm so worried about 720p, at this point, I don't have a high definition television. I would be curious enough to temporarily connect it to my 19" computer monitor though.
