I forgot to add Tales of Destiny to that list. As well as Lunar and Lunar 2 for the Sega CD. I was wrong, Earthbound was not my first RPG, Lunar: the Silver Star was. (followed by Lunar 2, then Legend of Zelda: LTTP, and then Earthbound. oh sweet memories!)

I though it was cool how they encouraged you to play with others in that game, even strangers. It was sorta like the world's first MMORPG, but in the real world???
