Man, the best I can get with these patterns is 15.  The last one has gotten away a few times.  I wish there was a fool-proof way of doing it, because something simple always messes up a few seconds into the third or fourth pellet.  Has anyone recorded video of this?

The second pattern only works sometimes, that's where it all goes wrong for me.

You don't have to use default settings. It'll work with the it set to five lives too.

 

Seeing you post this gives me hope K4rn4ge. I know it's a completely different game, but I just don't seem to be able to get x10 and survive 1 mil on Geo Wars!! High score 2.3 mil so I'm pretty sure I can do it, I just need to watch those lives!!

As silly as this may seem, if you're playin and using that patterns, its helpful for when they all turn away to do their familiar little paths to then get the BIG pill. If they are on a straight then it makes them change direction and thus come towards you. I did it a couple of times and basically fluked my way through but it may help you a little...i dunno. Thanks btw for the pattern help. :D

I got the first 8 ghosts my first time through with the help of this.  I didn't have a real chance to work the rest of the way though.  Hope to have it by the end of the week!

I just got it. this achievement was so beyond frustrating. I almost had the achievement at least 10 times but I just didn't get the last ghost for whatever reason.

I didn't use this guide thingy. I used it for like 2 hours and i could never get the last pellet. Than I realized to just gather up the ghosts and have them follow me to a pellet. ITS MUCH EASIER. don't use guides. I semi used it just to get the ghosts out and following me, but please take my advice and try it without the guide

No offence, but many people, including myself, have got this achievement thanks to these patterns. Use them, don't use them, whatever, it's nothing to do with me, but the idea of these patterns is that it's the most effective way I found of gathering the ghosts consistently. If you found it easier to wing it every attempt, then that's great, but I was getting frustrated with that approach so tried to develop a method that yielded the same reactions from the ghosts as frequently as possible. As stated before, once you've got the pellet, it's up to you to get all the ghosts, the patterns don't help you conquer that part of the achievement because the ghosts randomly scatter. The patterns are there to help get the ghosts following you.

 

On another note, I'm glad you've been able to get the achievement. It's a killer and whether you use mine and FieldEffect's method or not, anyone who has this has a lot of patience and determination.

to each their own I guess. If you're having trouble doing it, than try this method. It is a pretty good method except the last pellet was tricky. That's just my preference. Also I think its easier to do it without the patterns because you don't have to die at the and the ghosts are already out starting to follow you

These aren't fail-safe and I'm sorry they didn't work for you, but the main thing is that you got them. Although the rest of the achievements were pretty easy, I think this achievement, before these patterns made it easier, was one of the hardest achievements I've successfully tackled in a game.

i mean its all good tryin sound aso you did it with no help at all but this is coming from the guy he got his blackbelt grandmaster not legitamatly

wow dude. just wow. I couldn't do it because I was trying these patterns and I couldn't do it trying these patters, so i tried without doing patterns and it worked.

Also, don't EVER say I did grandmaster not legit dude. I spent every day playing that game for many many hours for a whole month to get that achievement. I'm pathetic I know but I got that achievement legitly and you can see my videos if you want in the mutant storm forums.

I don't even know who this kid is, but just because he sucks balls at the game and only got to purple belt doesn't mean somebody can't get the grandmaster
