Strictly speaking you can't cheat - but you can cheese. I have seen a friend play this by going into the freeroll ring game (no-limit, blinds of 2/4) and go all in on the 1st hand regardless. If they lose they buy more chips and go again. If they win they quit the table (to keep the winnings) and repeat the process. Only took about 2 minutes per attempt. Sometimes they would get action from 3 or 4 people on the table and make 1200. Although it would take a long time to get a really high bankroll with this kind of play. Either way it sucks, I prefer to play properly (hence my single player bankroll is quite realistic for the number of hans I have played).

Who the *** wants to play this to get a 16 million bankroll in single play is beyond me that would just bore me to death im bored as it is getting 1 million.

I know its not all americans and of course its some brits as well.

Just going from my personal experiences on live thats all. Dont want any harsh feelings in the forums, we should all work together to put a stop to these antics, american or british or whoever.

 I've run into that baron von something too... Seems to always be that friendly. If I remember correctly (and I may not) the baron is also an XBL ambassador, of all things....

I'm honestly not trying to be a rude, but do you see the inconsistency in your comments?  You say you really do, then you say you can't stand most of the ones on live.  Judge each person you meet based on the person, not on where they live, where they came from, or what their beliefs are.

I've been playing this game for some time (2+ yrs) and have had some success avoiding line-tuggers. To set the record stright, a circle of European players first discovered the cheat, most of whom where from the UK. One of the cheats posted the instructions on their Gamer Tag's public profile which then caused a cheating pandemic for this game. Everyone on the top 10-20 spots of the competitive leaderboard cheated, except for Tel UK who earned his bankrolls fairly. Most of the fair players only play with those they've preferred or know and are on their friends list. Once a player leaves prematurely, everyone avoids them. This seems to work.

I've found that this works well.  What amazes me is finding out the age of some of the cheater.  I mean dude, come on...if you are older that 20 years old and cheat at xbox live arcade poker you are a loser!  I mean seriously, what is the point?

The cool thing is that now, people call out the cheaters at other tables to warn us good poker players.  Almost every cheater I ran into I had already been warned about.  If it was just a matter of them taking 1st place $ then I'd have no problem with it.  I mean I guess if you've failed at life far be it from me to keep you from having the only thing that validates your existance.  Rise to to the top of the leader board playa!

But the thing is, sometimes the game ends when you donks cheat and it takes all the good players who have lives chips away.  And the whole argument that it isn't real money is lame.  The fake money we amass represents time that we have spent earning our way up to the higher tournaments and improving our already stellar poker skills. 

I know you guys that cheat probably don't have alot going on for you.  I wouldn't understand what that feels like so I try not to judge.  But go cheat at the non-competitive tournament tables.  They have leaderboards for those types of games as well and you can be the man at the top on those.

So wait, is this "lag glitch" still not fixed then? Becasue I've not come across it since I got the game a few months back, but am I just lucky? Seems pretty shocking that it's still in if so.

Oh and it's a bit stupid to suggest that every cheater on XBL is American or something..the ratio of cheaters from the US to XBL users from the US is probably similar to the same ratio in relation to Europe.

By the way I'm from England and am not a cheater.

This entire thread has become completely misguided and everyone who thinks a person's country has something to do with whether or not they're likely to chat is -wrong-

Its a person's lifestyle, NOT their country, that affects their capacity to actively cheat on these games.

As far as their nationality, the only factor enabling one to cheat would be their average national income? (I don't hear of too many hackers or cheaters from Haiti or Zambia).

The U.S. has alot of people with no personal lives and some money, most of them teens or younger adults, who spend their time everyday playing these video games constantly. its not because they're American, its because they're *** losers, so stop stereotyping all of us. While the U.S. may have the most cheaters, we probably have the highest number of fair gamers as well, both due to population. Please, stop glorifying yourselves and blaming others, it makes you sound like a hypocrite, especially when compared to my personal experiences with these people.
I know people who mod other games and it sounds eerily familiar to the cheating experienced on here. If you hook your XBOX 360 to a computer, you can join a LIVE game and dissappear from the screen. You're still in the match, however, and you can kick out every other player through your computer whenever you wish - not sure of the details, but people do it on GTA 4 -alot-

This could be what these people are doing as its obvious they're cheating somehow. I agree that XBOX should create some sort of leaderboard scanning group as they would find numerous infractions that are OBVIOUSLY unattainable through normal play (again, GTA 4 leaderboards).
