i have tried everything nothing stops the lag.have you got any more ideas

it didn't worked for me coz i have no PC connected to the X360 so i couldn't change that option. and still lag and lag when "online" (and not with all my other games).

Then a mate told me to play at 60Hz and IT WORKS !!!!

So here is another tip :-)

Ok what i did to get it to work was this

Disconnect my 360 from my PC (On the 360 so i can't stream music or look at pics)

Changed from 50hz to 60hz

Once you have finished playing online and what to stream music again, go to the dashboard go pictures and reconnect that way.

The change to 60Hz nailed my problem too - everywhere else I'd looked only mentioned the disabling the connection to the computer but I only have Apple Mac's here so that wasn't an option!! What had caught me out was that I was running the 360 in HDTV mode and I didn't get the option to change between 50 and 60Hz modes until I flipped the switch on the cable to TV mode. Changed that to 60Hz, flipped the switch back to HDTV and it's now fantastic - RR6 is the only game I'd tried so far and I'd been really disappointed with the online performance but now I'm well happy - thanks guys :)

changing to pal 60 worked a treat, smooth as anything and won a few to, (noticed dead or alive 4 runs pal 60 only)

I was hoping the latest dashboard update would fix this issue but it did not, looks like Namco are only interested in trying to charge us for more music in Marketplace, so we will have to live with this bug I think.

I thought this thread got locked.  The solution of disconnecting from Media PC in dashboard works fine, though cumbersome to turn on and off, it works for me.  Would be nice for Namco to just fix it instead of offering more music to buy and free unlocked cars in the Marketplace.  LOL
