The game IS over the top ... but I still like it.

Romanowski was always a jerk.  I don't need this game to tell me that.  So I'll keep thinking it ... and just keep the game!

Jeez...everyone just needs to get the sand out of their vaginas.  I mean seriously.  The orgin. blitz was all bout cheap shots like hiting a reciever before the ball gets to them, or doing some crazy looking splash on a guy after the play has ended.  This is the new, non-NFL( you can thank EA for that), dark, twisted, fun watching each cheap shot kind of Blitz.  Every dirty hit I put on a guy was the little bit of suspense wondering if a bone in his leg or arm was gonna snap like a twig.  Then when he's on the sideline, and the needle injects into him and he bellows out because of the pain.....awww the absolute joy.  The only thing that was more fun than that, was waiting for him to get back on the field, and dirty hit that motha once again.  PRICELESS entertainment.  You can all sit there and say this game is over the top because of the graphic nature,.... the drugs, the gambling, and bone crunching hits( litterally).  But its not tring to be that fun, happy go lucky, type of game like Madden, or All Pro.  They had to take an old school game, NFL Blitz, and try and make something out of it without the NFL licencse (once again, thanks EA).  Most people won't give a football game with out the NFL licencse a chance so they have to throw some crazy stuff into it to grab the peoples attention.  For me it was the commercial where the defender rips of the ball carriers helmet and smokes him in the head with it, but thats just me.  The only complaint about this game is it's short story mode, it needs to last longer.  So next time ladies, before you buy a game, make sure it's not rated M for mature.  Because you oviouslly can't handle it.

I agree with the last steatment. the game was never ment to be a feel good game and like it was stated EA owns NFL rights so there is not much a choice if you want NFL games. I find it comical that some on the chat are comparing this game to madian because it really is nothing like it except that they are both football. This game was fun and gave me everything I bought it for. If I wanted "lets hold hands" football game I would have bought madian. I am tired of reading posts from people saying "to much viloince, drugs, beer, gamliing, sexual themes" that is why they rated it M. You know what your buying. Enough with it. If you dont like it dont get it, but dont go around saying you were mad about it because you know it was a part of the game before hand. Instead say something that would help like "I found it annoying that the story was so shot" or "juicing did nothing for my team" or " I cant get a coustmized team that is ranked higher then the nightmare." that would be useful for everyone.
