Sign me up! I'm almost done with all the episodes. While we're at it, get them to put in Wolfenstein and all of it's levels. Then give us Quake!

Doom 2 for 2 Reasons, Double Barreled Shotgun and my favorite board ever Tricks and Traps, actually that may be Ultimate Doom, not sure.

This may not be entirely on topic, but I think they should seriously change the 50 MB limit...its WAY too small...if they can raise it, it's guaranteed that you'll see much more great past games such as Quake, Duke Nuke'em, Doom 2, etc.

Re: Who else wants Doom2!
yea that would be good but I think 50mb limit is a good average. I mean what about the people who might have a slower connection? I recommend if you really want to play doom 2 on your 360 spend some money on the collector's edition (find it on amazon and I bought it for 20 bucks) of Doom 3 and get the great game and the old ones too along with some documentary on the series as well. You can't play on live but hey the first one all I get with it is lag online anyways so nobody plays it.

Re: Who else wants Doom2!

I'd dig Doom 2, I love how XBLA has Ultimate Doom already.  :)

They just need to :

-Bump the max players to 8 or 16

-Fix the lag

And then we'll be golden.

Well I've been playing Doom 2 on the 360. ^ ^ If you buy the Doom 3 Collector's Edition it comes with classic doom and doom 2 (got it for 20 bucks on amazon). I don't think the graphics are optimized for the 360 or HD and surround sound but hey you can still play it. Also the live option isn't there but Doom 2 has tons of levels to keep you busy.

That's cool, but I don't want to buy Doom 3, I personally didn't like it at all.

Doom 2 all the way w/team deathmatch would be killer.

Oh I forgot to say this but I want teh achievements with it as well! Not just Doom 2 itself lolz...

j/k

But it would be nice to have Doom 2 with achievements (the only way that can happen is if it's ever available as an XBLA game).

Man, I remember the day I upgraded my 486/66 to 8MB of RAM and was finally able to run DOOM II *without* having to first reboot, load a custom config/autoexec file, turn off all the various drivers (that were hogging up my HUGE 4096K of memory), etc, etc...   Ah, those were the days.

Sometimes I miss the good old days when the REAL challenge in playing a game was "Can you figure out how to configure your system just so in order for the game to load without giving you a screenful of errors about SNDBLAST.EXE, EMM386.EXE, HIMEM.SYS, et al.??"  lol   Winning the game wasn't as big of a "personal accomplishment" as getting the freaking game installed...it made you feel like a systems programming genius...

*SOB*  ah, the memories... :)

This statement contradicts itself...twice.

Well if theres any way to contact the guys who add on XBLA games to be available, what you should do is maybe contact them and give them the idea to add-on Doom 2, and they may consider it...if not, we may have to wait for a real long time...and there could be a possibility that it'll never appear on XBLA...but we'll do all in our power to make Doom 2 an XBLA title!  You have to fight, you can't just let it sit there and rot away...

I know this is completely off topic, but wouldn't that be a funny idea for an arcade game: "486 - The Setup Challenge"?

Back on topic again, I really want Doom 2 with all the good stuff you people suggested already.

Not only that, but once you had everything set up correctly, you also had to memorize the Base I/O address, IRQs, and DMA options for your soundcard. ;)

I couldn't say it better myself. I always kept that weapon as my main gun through most of the game. Gotta love the combat shotgun! Doom 2 is a must for the 360, I've been hoping they'd make it since I saw Doom.

Are you stupid or something? I didn't at all say it would ACTUALLY happen. I only said there is a "good chance." I don't see anything stopping them bringing it to XBL...
