I really badly want DOOM 2 on the arcade. I remember it on my PC!
Man, I remember the day I upgraded my 486/66 to 8MB of RAM and was finally able to run DOOM II *without* having to first reboot, load a custom config/autoexec file, turn off all the various drivers (that were hogging up my HUGE 4096K of memory), etc, etc... Ah, those were the days.
Sometimes I miss the good old days when the REAL challenge in playing a game was "Can you figure out how to configure your system just so in order for the game to load without giving you a screenful of errors about SNDBLAST.EXE, EMM386.EXE, HIMEM.SYS, et al.??" lol Winning the game wasn't as big of a "personal accomplishment" as getting the freaking game installed...it made you feel like a systems programming genius...
*SOB* ah, the memories... :)
This statement contradicts itself...twice.
