Thank you, Someone with some common sense. Jackie Brown is the hands down winner (followed by Dusk Til Dawn).

Definitely not Jackie Brown and Robert Rodriguez directed "From Dusk Till Dawn".  Tarantino did write it though.  He also wrote "True Romance".

Re: Favorite Tarantino movie

i also like sin city(he directed part of that)..and even if he stars, writes or directs, its more or less a tarantino movie for me

i think only natural born killers is the only movie he has tried to distance himself from, being somewhat furious at oliver stone at the time of release for (apparently)ripping apart tarantinos original script/story

Tarantino only directed one short scene in Sin City.  He wrote but did not direct True Romance, and Natural Born Killers.  He also cowrote From Dusk til Dawn with Robert Rodriguez.

My alltime favorite Tarantino movie is Pulp Fiction.  I saw it 10 times in the theater back in 94.  Reservoir Dogs is a close second though.  "Death Proof", Tarantino's new movie with Kurt Russell looks like it's going to rock.  It's going to be part of a back to back showing with "Planet Terror", a Robert Rodriguez zombie horror movie.  Both movies combined are being called "GrindHouse".

Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs. My mood changes depending on whichever one I've seen more recently. Right now, that would be Pulp Fiction. :)

Re: Favorite Tarantino movie

Right now Pulp Fiction would be number one, one of the most original movies in a long time and good work by the cast.

I'm a huge Tarantino fan and I cannot wait to see some stuff he has completed or that is announced...stuff like Grindhouse and Inglorious B*stards

Pulp, KB and RD are all really good, but I've really been into Jackie Brown lately.

Tough question. Pulp, Res Dogs, and Kill Bill  are classics of coarse. My personal fav is Jackie Brown. The music in the film is classic. The short he did in Four Rooms was really awesome too, they're all great.

Re: Favorite Tarantino movie

Jackie Brown is very underrated, IMO and True Romance is probably his best writing job. As far as pure Tarantino, you can't go wrong with 'Dogs.

The main "Q" problem has been is "borrowing" of others' work. Much of Pulp is Roger Avary not Tarantino and 'Dogs is pretty much ripped from the Ringo Lam/Chow Yun Fat movie City On Fire. At least he admits to his blatant theft and the outcome is generally entertaining.

Yeah agreed. I think planet will be just non stop action fun. And Death Proof will have a little deeper story.

Pure speculation. Don't hold me to it! lol
