One very important thing!

When you play the Terrorist Hunt on Single Player, you can't change the character you're playing with. I did this  after Dam, I went from Logan to Kim, and I did not get this achievement. I will now replay the first 4 maps with Kim. I've already completed all maps with Realistic and Low Density, but the achievements has not been registered.

I will inform you as soon as I get these first four maps played through.

Ok, this has been tested. You simply can't change your character. I played first 4 maps with Logan, then changed to Michael, and no achievements were given to me. Then I played the first 4 maps with Michael, and I got the Veteran Hunter and the Elite Hunter achievements.

P.S. The Dam is the hardest map of terrorist hunt mission.

Dam is super tough, but miraculously finished it on Normal, high density with only 1 teammate. Luckily we set a long time limit and could methodically hunt down the stragglers.

I didn't know there were splitscreen achievements for T-Hunt. Man, it was tough slogging through on co-cop. Glad to know density can be set on low!

Two-man T-Hunt on any map is rough. You can't always have a guy cover the rear for those inevitable flanks. Watch your radar like a hawk. When you engage and the enemy flees, you can bet he is circling around. Walking into certain areas of a map trigger enemy spawns or alert atention; replay the map enough times and you'll be able to predict a lot of their appearances.

Communicate, obviously. Tell your teammate when ur moving, if you need to reload, where you got killed, when you need to stop and scratch your nose... everything.  Don't linger in any one spot for too long.

When enemies throw smoke grenades, it is an invitation for you to flick on the heat vision, get bold and charge in for some free kills.

When you break cover to fire on a SPAS-wielding enemy, make sure you kill him ;)

I love T-Hunt, but it can be frustrating, especially on Realistic. Enemies head shoot and toss grenades like mad. It's also a shame you don't get any consolation points for losing.

Also, best advice which has already been mentioned, find a base camp... any area with only one entry point, and lure enemies there. Most maps should have one or two spots

For the achievements you will not be playing co-op. Single player only.  I found Dam to be tough but to me it took me many more tries to get thru the Library then the Dam.  On low density,  I think it took me 4 trys.  Good Luck.

Ah, thank you for clarifying.
I'm going to tackle the t-hunts solo for those achievements. Great practice and great fun any way you slice it.

Yep, I beat Border Town on Realistic Terrorist Hunt just to see what would happen achievement wise.  Sometimes, the last Tango refused to spawn so I spent hours trying to find him (sucks).  That ruined it for me a couple of nights. I still don't know if I have to beat it all without turning off my xbox.

No you do not.  Just start a new campaign be sure you have the difficulty level set to Realistic and start playing.  The last checkpoint that you made it to will be where the game will start the next time you turn it on and play.

I have one map left on realistic and can't quite get it. I think it's the research labs map, the one right before steets. The Library map only took me 3-4 tries, which was very surprising after getting slaughtered dozens of times on XBL on this map. Everytime I get down to about 7-10 terrrorists left, they spawn in the most in opertune times and and make quick work of me. It amazes me how a guy with MK23 can take you out with one shot from around the corner of a doorway, but he can't be shot.

Re: Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:

On streets, after searching 15 minutes, I was getting ready to restart the mission. So, as I was repeling down from one of the building, the last guy was standing there with his leg twisted above his head. In a panic I unloaded a clip in a circular motion thinking he would move in some direction, he just stood there looking around, so after unloading my clip and waiting for a reload, I'm thinking this sucks, he's going to kill me, but he never fired a shot, just kept looking around. I luckily was able to take him out and finish the mission. I wonder if he even knows he's dead.

Yea the Research Labs were tough but not too bad.  Took me about 4 tries if I remember correctly.  When I start out I go out the double doors down the stairs then Fast Rope down.  You may encounter 1 to 3 guys down there or you may not encounter anyone.  Then go behind the truck and thru the doorway into the back corrider section and wind my way thru,  you will find 0 to 3 enemies.  I then go to the left and enter the tunnel doorway, pause at the doorway inside the tunnel and usually 1 or 2 enemies will come thru the door. ( Tip: I always shut doors behind me so I can hear when they open)  Now go thru the tunnels, you will run into 0 to 3 enemies here.  I now come out down at the very end behind the crates.  Go up the 2 flights of stairs and walk up to the door on your left and back away. (Tip:  if there is an enemy in a room and you walk up to the door and back away w/o opening it they will open the door and come out,  you take them by surprise instead of the other way around.)  You will have 0 to 3 enemies come out here.  Now go thru the door and make your way into the next room,  walk up to the door then back away and get behind the counter and crouch usually there are anywhere from 3 to 7 enemies at this location.  I have not had any enemies come from any other direction but the doorway.  You can usually shoot 1 to 3 and then toss a Frag the last few.  Once I killed the last 10 enemies at this location but most of the time you have to continue thru the doorway and then go left. Go thru the doorway and to the left passing the last doorway on your right and crouch in the corner. You normally have an enemy come out from the middle doorway then 1 to 2 will come thru the doorway in front of you,  then the rest should come out from the doorway in the middle.  I did one time have 1 enemy left downstairs.  Go thru the doorway in front of you then left down the stairs and he should be there.  This is the way I worked the map every time so I could figure out some sort of pattern since it is random each time you restart.

I believe that you must have made a mistake in signing on.  There is no possible way that would have happened.  As far as your ppl not dying experience,  I experience it as well.  Sometimes it is the host server creating bullet latency or another form of lag or it could be your own connection. You also have to factor in the fact of the weapon you are using.  Sometimes especially in panic mode your shots may not be going directly where you think they are.  I have found that in almost every game there is always someone who seems to  be invincible,  it is always random.  I haven't found any one person to always be a dominating factor in the game.  It seems to change map to map. I think they did a great job keeping everyone on the same playing field.

On another note:  Please stop using profanity on the forums,  it is against the COC.  I have also removed your email address from your above post.  You should never post personal info on a public forum.  They can simply PM you here from the forums.  Good Luck.

I ve beaten the first two maps on realistic.  WHen i shutdown the console and start fresh the next day it always defaults back to Border TOwn.  I would think there is some sort of flag to tell you what T-hunts you have completed????  I sure dont want to go through the T hunts again by myslef in realistic mode.  It is a challenge for me.

Re: Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:
Boy did i spend a long time getting the elite achievment on this. I did it all on normal no problem and same with most of the realistic levels apart from library and research labs, must of spent about 20+ times on each but got it in the end. The best way to do this is know where the terrors spawn and do it in stages, after playing all the levels i came to know where abouts they spawn and how they behave and especially on realistic it didnt help sometimes as they found some way to suprise you. Doing it in stages is ur best bet anyhow and always take the same route as you get used to it. I should really write a guide up for doing each level as on realistic you need all the help you can get.

I can see that.  I just started from the 1st one and didn't move on until I beat it.  Much easier to keep up with that way.

Same here I went everywhere, but no one showed.  Then I fast roped off the roof into the middle of the big room and all of them came and tried to get me.

RE: Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:

I immediately assumed if I played T-hunt  in single player i would get the splitscreen achievment as well. It's supposed to be more difficult this way and there's no achievment mentioned for single player, so anyone who considers these facts could have figured it out for himself.

Anyway i beat the *** on realistic difficulty setting with low enemy density very recently so all maps are still fresh in my head (some of them i had to play over 20 times before i fully mapped out it's AI-dynamic). So if anyone wants advise about how to approach a certain map or group of enemies, just PM me and i'll be glad to help you on your way.

You can only get the achievements by playing on single player. No respawns, no snake cam.  If you play thru on Realistic you will get both achievements.

Good Luck.
