My Def Jam: Icon demo impression.I'm not going to lie, the first time I played the demo, I was disappointed. Even though I'm very hyped for this game, to me it felt like the game was very slow and sluggish. Icon is just different from the previous Def Jam games. But after playing the demo for more than a couple hours, I actually started to enjoy this game. I gave this game a chance and learned the controls and found it very fun.
People just need to give it some time and if you still don't like the game after playing for a while, then it's just not your type of game. I love it. I played all the previous Def Jam games and I think I will enjoy this one as well. The graphics are beautiful, the controls are smooth, and the pace of the game does not bother me anymore.
Remember when the Fight Night demo came out? A lot of people complained that it's slow, the fighters move like robots and it was not fun. Well, the final version of the game is better than ever and is much improved from the demo. I think that's what is going to happen with Icon. The final build of the game is going to be better and improved.
You never know, this might be an old version of the game and they decided to release it as a demo. I'm sure they will fix some bugs for the final version of the game. And like I said, it's just a demo and sometimes you have to give it a chance and don't bash the game just based on the demo.
I think it's going to be a very fun game that a lot of people will enjoy. This game is going to be great, two players versus and online. I'm in.
After playing the demo for quite a while, I have made my decision about this game. I'm going to pick it up when it comes out.
Enjoy!
