If not, I'll just say that the Rifle is a great weapon, my favorite. You can always use an SMG as your secondary weapon if you do want to get up close and personal... Smartlink+SMG is pretty powerful... but if you're going to be on the offensive remember that Smartlink is a dead give away to the enemy because of the giant red laser beem coming out of your eyes... just turn it off when you're moving and only turn it on when you're ready to fight... (If it's in the Left Trigger position, just hit the Left Trigger to turn it off and on, if you don't know you can do that... Smartlink gives you increased autoaim and an extra zoom with any weapon while it's on, and when its off you only lose the autoaim but you also lose the bright red beams)
Also, hopefully you know how to Quickcast things, Tree of Life, Smoke, Resurrect, AMGs and other powers don't have to actually be mapped to a button for you to cast them, as long as you've purchased them... that's very helpful when you're being aggressive...
As a human, your best bet is the SMG or Rifle because anything bigger is going to slow you down... even the SMG and Rifle slow you down a bit...
