I recently upgraded my Xbox 360 to an HDMI enabled one, I know that now I need to be connected to live in order for my Arcade games to be unlocked but I lost Speedball 2 in the process!

Now all my other games can be played normally when I am online except for SB2, it always says to unlock the full version! I tried everything, calling, clearing the HD cache, erasing and downloading again. All with no results.

Has anybody gone through this? How can I fix it?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have the exact same problem. I have 180/200 on this thing and I cannot finish it. I have tried everything except recovering my own account and trying to redownload it on another console.

 

I even asked customer service about this, and their brilliant response: "Sign in as another live account and pay the 800 points again. You won't be able to play it on your default profile, but you will still be able to play the game."

johnny.....i know the work around for this game.  ill send you a voice message when i get home since i dont want to type it all out.  i had the same issue once too.

I've had the same problem since I sent my Xbox off for repair, and got a new console in return.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm not spending 800 points on a game I've already paid for!
