Hey guys hows it going.

 

I was wondering what everyone's best three moments on Xbox or Xbox Live were.

 

Mine would have to be, in the following order

1) Setting up XBL and playing for the first time.

 

2) Going to the Halo 3 midnight launch getting home and sitting on the couch listinging to the theme song. (it still gives me shivers)

 

3) The noise, sound and sight of a good old headshot with a sniper rifle on Gears of War.

Uno - 200/200
Rainbow six vegas 2 - 1000/1000

1) Going to Midnight launch of Halo2 and also Halo3, and staying up till 4am playing campaign and multiplayer.

2) Helping my mate buying a 360 and then getting him to set up LIVE. And then hearing him in shock and aw when i ran him over in GTAIV. He loved it.

3) Setting up LIVE and playing Halo2 online.

4) DarkLAN. Last Years in November. Without XBox360 or support would of not happened.

I can't keep it at 3 thats just to low of a number lol
mine would be a Top 100 list. haha or even more

Hitman: Blood Money: 1000/1000
Call of Duty 4: 1000/1000 (Legit)

1. Getting one kill in the entire match, of my first ever GOW match, with sheepy and co....
2. Getting a revive in that same match, without even meaning to when it was me and someone else left,i was brutally killed seconds later...lol
3. Beating someone ranked in the top 500 of fifa 08 by flukishly scoring a goal from kick off in the last period of extra time....

How about all thous awkward moments?

1. Well probaly setting up my 360 and playing it for the first time on Live.
2. The peeps, especially the singing which goes on in the game rooms. Its so classic!

My three...

1. Yeah..a defining moment...hadn't put too much thought into the next gen of gaming..and then along came Gears....wow.....clwan up in isle four alright....

2. The release of GTA4....I am such a GTA fanboy..and have been waiting for something to come since San Andreas

3. Actually understanding the whole concept of demos....awesome!

Heh, mine are (in no particular order):

 

1. Spotting Guitar Hero being released in JB when luckily on a day off from work with my mate. Just HAD to stop by my mate's brother's work on the way home to grab his brother's copy, then proceeded to do co-op for the next 3 hours straight (only breaking to grab drinks or to "use the facilities", and return to prise the guitar out of my brother's hands!!).

2. Experiencing Halo 3 in widescreen goodness, and finally "finishing the fight".

3. Loading up Live for the first time, some 6 months after getting my 360. It had its share of dramas (frantically trying to find a way to keep my achievements and progress after stupidly creating my account on here, rather than on the system. Worked out OK, only had to recomplete 3 games, so not so bad), but scrolling through all the demos and arcade games made me instantly regret not buying some points cards to start with.

Definately GoW, I didnt even know about it, just ordered it! Best game ever!

Just had a sniper fight with Rossa in it! Both got some outrageous face rippas! But my xbox froze just as he ripped my teeth out!

Great Topic

1) Playing the 360 for the first time and stepping out of the sewers in Oblivion. Seeing this massive, beautiful world made my jaw drop.

2) Some of the funny buggers I have met on Live, shout outs to Grathius, Danny, Sheepy oh and of course mine and TWODOGSz Gears match which was spent talking about  RPG's LOL.

3) The DarkLan events where I get to meet fellow gamers in the flesh. Lounges, Massive TV's and 360's are a great mix

best time,

joined a room for a game of uno, all 4 of us had cameras on. started off pretty stock standard till one bloke tells us he wants to show us all something. i got skeptical. but before i knew it, the guy had soulja boy playing through the mic and the camera had zoomed out, and he was doing the full dance. me and other 2 guys all immediately start doing our own dance or throwing our hands up in the air, whilst singing of course.

most entertaining thing i have ever seen on xbox, had me in stiches.

1. Finishing the fight and the hours in the multiplayer that followed.

2. Playing through Oblivion for the first time, the game was amazing and my first Xbox 360 game.

3. The hours I speant on Gears multiplayer and learning of the unwritten 9 rounds, Warzone Aussie rule.

Dimorphic 360 Latest - Grand Theft Auto 4 - The Review.

Edit: 0) OMG how could I forget! Oblivion... still fav game all time*

1) Game launches (Halo2, Halo3, Bioshock, GTA IV)

2) First ever Halo2 BTB CTF / First experience of xbox live

3) When stuff I don't expect happens (GTAIV helicopter cut in half, Bioshock plot twist)

It's nice when games suprise you since it doesn't happen too often with pre-launch research

Prince of Persia - Survivor!

1. The first time i got chainsawed online in gears.

2. Oblivion, and getting lost over and over.

3. Crossing the road in GTA only to be hit and killed by a truck.

1. Playing GOW for the first time in awe of how damn good it looked in HD. First game to make me realise we weren't in the 128-bit era anymore... 

2.Firing up Rockstar Table Tennis online for the first time and noticing how far along consoles have come in terms of online connectivity.

3. Coming first in a game of COD4 or Halo3 especially against Americans who usually are host and have much better connection
