Alrighty, got word of the "fix".  What you need to do is call support and confirm some information.  They will then give you a download code so you can get your HexicHD back.

If you guys are experiencing any trouble with that, please post here.  Hopefully someone from support will take a look here.

 

I am keeping this thread for people who are having problems.  Please keep it that way.

It's been busy forever hehe.

i did this the other day, after getting a support email. the guy said he'd have to email his supervisor to get a code however and then phone me back - that was 3 days ago :/

Well that was quite a convoluted process.  They said they’ll call back in 2-3 business days with the download code.  Which in Microsoft time is 3 months.  Quite a long time just for a little code don’t you think?

totally :( .. like i say, tomorrow will actually be 4 days since i logged the call as well and still no phone call.

to me it doesn't make sense - like some guy in another thread posted - Hexic comes on the XBOX 360 hardisks - its too big (not 100% on this....) to fit on the memory card - so why not just make it an actual free download on LIVE! ??

I hope this works...i had to reformat the day after i got the 360. I did play it once and it was awesome. As you can see on my gamercard though it was DEC. 2 that i played it.

Just got off the phone with xbl and was told that it was on the marketplace. Which is an outrite lie.(i checked with the guy on the line). Then was told that if i dont see it then i would have to wait for it to become available.(thought u just said it was?) Then i called back thinking i would get a different cust. rep. I did and was told that there is a fix but thier support team hasnt given them instructions on how to make the game avilable to me. ?????????? I wish NHL2K6 didnt hose my HD.

Thanks guys for the info. All I had to do was talk to the rep and they had me talk to their supervisor and she said within 72 hours someone would call me with a code to download from marketplace. So now just waiting on the call.

Right - I'm on the phone as we speak.

Guy seemed a bit confused at first saying it was on the marketplace until I pointed out that it wasn't (well not when I last looked anyway!) and I mentioned the download code - currently waiting for him to confirm information.

Came back and is now taking some details - the reason they are doing call backs is that they don't have the code yet but will ring when they do.

Sorted - got a request number and will now sit back and wait for the call with the code. Very helpful.

I'm wondering how you can download something from the market place with a code, can't they just put Hexic HD there for free ? I mean, everyone with a HD is supposed to have it ...

Still waiting 5 days on for my Code after phoning Saturday. Called them again today, and the guy didn't seem to know much about it - infact said there was no record of my call to start with!? (then found it). He told me to wait another 2 days and if i'd not heard from them (confirmed my phone and email address again) to phone back again...  I don't think waiting 5 days is particulary reasonable tbh - my freebie LIVE runs out next week, and i'm really starting to question whether or not to bother with it if this is the kind of service level we're gonna get :(

Cool, my friend Lazyboy0172 tried to do it but it didn't work out so well i guess and they gave him 500 ms points because he had to reformat his hard disk.  Pretty nice though.  Keep your head up lazyboy

Has anyone actually succeeded with this alleged download code?  I've called twice, and have been told 1) it will be on marketplace, and 2) I can't get the game back.

Don't you think that cusotmer service should give not only the same answer to a question, but the *right* answer to a question?  In any event, I don't want to go through a bunch of hassle if this doesn't actually work.

My gametag got corrupt 3 weeks ago, so had to do a format.

Called xbl straight away,was told its on xblmarketplace (uk), i know for a fact it isnt and told the rep that straight way.

Then in under 3 seconds with out talking to anyone else he told me he had to speak to his supervisor and get a code to tap in to get it.Was told i would be informed in under 24hours...........

After 5 day called back, gave them the reference number, same as before need a code we will call you now between 24-48 hours.....

Called tonight 10 minutes ago was told" As it isnt a major issuse you will have to wait until its free to download on xbl marketplace"

"When will this be" i asked

"Sometime soon"

I was told by customer service that I'd get a call back within a few days too, and that was like 4 days ago already.  If anybody actually gets a code or somehow gets Hexic back then please post, I'd be interested to hear about it.  Hopefully the wait won't be much longer.

I don't want to believe it, considerirng what the forum rep said, but its likely bullshit.  I am not going to bother waiting for some code for hours on the line.  Might as well just put it on the marketplace.  It can't be hard.  The game is already made.

i read there's a dashboard update planned for next week, maybe they'll put Hexic HD on the market place then.

To get Hexic HD back, you need to call support.  That is the plan to get it back.

tbh i've given up for now, as I phoned 8 days ago... promised a phone back, never happened.. have phoned again, told to wait 2 days and then if nothing phone again...

until someone actually posts that this method of phoning support actually has gotten them a result i'm not going to bother wasting my time. like someone else said, once the dashboard update happens, maybe it'll appear on live.

I am affected by this problem with Hexic too. My 360 has just updated to the new version of dashboard software: version 2.0.2255.0.

I have checked, and Hexic isn't available for download.

Sigh..... I guess we'll have to wait for the promised(!) call back from support
