If I buy Fable TLC will it work, will it work but not perfectly or will it not work at all?

Yes, it's backwards compatible. :) Here's a list of which Xbox games work on Xbox 360.

Whether it works well, I can't say. Haven't played it.

I think it works well on the 360.
They've tried their hardest on patching it to reduce lag, only problem is i still sometimes get that scary noise

But it works, not perfectly; but well.

Hey-

   I'm all pumped for Fable 2 to come out because I loved the first one. I had never bought TLC so I had to with all stuff I was reading about Fable 2 getting me so excited. I got the patch from XBox Live and started playing. It sucks.... the game is great but every 25 minutes the thing will freeze and I'll lose all my progress! I'm on the Bandit Camp mission now but I can't even step into Clifftop Path without it freezing! If anyone has a solution please tell me, otherwise, I'd say don't buy it... wait for Fable 2!

Every time I have played this game on my 360, I get a red ring and need to unplug/replug it in in order to .. well, get my 360 to work again. I don't know if it really is Fable .. but my past 2 .. yes 2 360's have done this after playing Fable- TLC.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, it works on the 360, go to gamestop, buy a code card and load it into xbox live and you will be able to play Fable, TLC as well as you can play the original. it is listed amongst the playable xbox games for the 360.

How many games do you have in memory?  Try erasing those you are done with to allow for more room for this very large game.

I just bought a 360 and got Fable at the same time. I keep having the game lock up on me. after it did it 3 times in the same battle i brought the game back to gamestop and they replaced it. Now with the new disk i have had it lock up once already after about 15 minutes. Am I the only one that has had this problem?

Yes, but it has frozen on me a few times.  Nothing big, though.

Do you really have to get the software emulator play this game?

Okay, I know that my previous question was probably stupid.  I got an xbox Arcade last Christmas, because there were games for the 360 and the original that I wanted to play.  After finding out that I needed a hard drive, I picked up a 120 GB on Ebay.  The seller didn't mention whether or not it already had the software emulator equipped, so I assume it didn't. I also purchased a copy of Fable: TLC, it was still in plastic package and had never been played.  I play the game last night.  It loaded fine, great visuals on 360.  I did notice noise when loading and occasional popping sound in backround sound. I have only played about an hour and a half of game so far. 
Should I be on the look out for other problems without the software emulator?

ok so i have a problem and it's not just on my xbox 360... the game starts to load but won't even go to the start screen. if anyone else has this problem please let me know how to fix it.

i have seven gigs free space, <60 gig total> installed the update cd from gamestop, and i still cant play any xbox original games, including the above mentioned, also I have the newest dashboard design .  Did I miss something?  this is the 4th original title i have tried so far, all of which are on the list, any advise, pls--- GAMER TAG          Abrazoom
