From this day forward, I have unlocked all 5 achievements. There are no more achievements to unlock. I really do not think this 12 achievement is correct. There are only 5 of them and they the Destroyed Targets. Everything else is a indiscriminate fraud and fake achievements. You can go on and keep telling me it's possible to gain anymore than the 5 achievements I have because you are lying to me with full treachery each time you tell me. Now that the achievements have all been accomplished, I have no use for Ikaruga anymore. This game can now kiss my @$$ good-bye. Thank you and have a wonderful day! I'll miss you, Ikaruga forum! Umm you can get the Dot Eater achievement. Don't shoot any bullets for one full chapter.

Yes, the rest of them are for the extremely hardcore. I don't even have them and I played this game so much on the Gamecube. I usually got like a B+.

Best bet is to do it in Co-op mode with someone amazing and maybe unlock achievements with them? Not quite sure if that will work, but hey achievements don't make a game anyways.

I paid $40 for this game on the Gamecube, and here it is on 360, for only $10 plus online co-op.
I'm not complaining : )

I can't. There is no online co-op play. Two players can only play in one system in one house. There's nothing more I can do. The only reason for online support is the Leaderboard. It's just the same with Omega Five.

What is it that you understand about co-op in this game???? That's only two people playing at the same time in one house. You can't play online co-op. Don't you get it? Oh, my bad. You were right. There is Xbox Live co-op. But nobody even bothers playing or joining. Did you think I'm ever going to get this chance at all??? Furthermore, the Replay I downloaded is not something I can do at all. I can't play like that. It's impossible for me to do all that at once. 90+ Chain Combos, no dying, S++ Ranking???? No, no, no. Those are players born with super-human video game skills. All of them are players form Japan. They do not speak English fluently or not even one damn thing.

If only I learned Japanese at an earlier age by now, none of this langauge barrier of Japanese would ever happen. Now I know someone like me will never succeed or learn Japanese. I can't do it. To me, it's too late. And don't say it's not too late. Anyone who says it's not too late are liars!!!

You do know you can switch colors (black and white)

its almost impossible to die in Level 1 until the boss - and even then its really easy not to die.

You just need to practice.

You don't need to get an S+ ranking to get all the achievements. You need an A.

I spent 5 months working on a challenge in DDR Universe 2, and I knew I would one day complete it. A few weeks ago, I completed the challenge! Why? Because I went into Training Mode and practiced and practiced and practiced. It may have taken me awhile, but I did it! Never give up.

You think people who got S+ rankings in Ikaruga were just born with that awesomness? No. They practiced and practiced.

Furthermore, your lack of knowledge in this game puzzles me. You did not even have a clue there was online co-op? What else do you not know?

Maybe take a look at the leaderboards and see who is in US who has those achievements and send them a nice message asking them if they can help you.

You also need to take a non-lazy vitamin. What is with that attitude of yours, Mister? XD

I can't do it. I can't get Dot Eater. I told you I cannot complete the game without dying while not shooting. I can't do it. I just can't. Regardless of what happens, the enemies keep distracting me with mixed bullets and I keep colliding unexpectedly from the enemies when I do not want to. The movement controls are terrible. I always move to damn slow. Why? Why do I always have to have a slow ship? That's not a fair game. It's not  fair that I have to be moving slow. Why me? Why always me? Look at my achievements a little carefully. I don't have Dot Eater one single bit. I only have 5 total achievements and that's everything in the game. I'll never get better in this game. Never. yea i to cannot get the A grade but i have gotten dot eater and its not that hard if you put it on easy...

i have to admit i havent yet got a grade better than c++ but id say ive only played the game for about 2 hours accumulated. It is addictive fun tho imo. perhaps it would be better to give us lameo <A graders some tips :)

Also, i didnt realise achievements could be unlocked on easy, just thought/assumed perhaps that it needed to be on at least normal.

I think it was just my lack of 'chain' understanding, as since this has been my main focus when playing the levels, my scores have increased 10 fold ;)

I was the same way as you. Just try to look up replay from ga key or spooni and try to replicate what they are doing. It took me 3-8 hour days to unlock my "star player" but it was well worth the frustration.

Silvercube, I should not have doubted you about the Dot Eater achievement. I was PO'ed because I thought I cannot die in a chapter to unlock it. But I realized as long as I don't fire in one chapter regardless of how many times I die, I should be fine.

 

However, as for the rest of the achievements, I am not even going to waste time on them. All I cared about was to gain at least 50% of the achievements unlocked for Ikaruga.
