This game would have had more life if it had online play like the PS2 version. Then again, it is great that this game has an interesting story mode and brought back the old Tony Hawk tracks and modes. I do really need to pick this up. After all, I had it on pre-order and got the t-shirt. :P

The xbox version of wasteland is ONLINE with multiplayer

check planettonyhawk.com   they say there is lag and glitch./

of course, i dun believe that.

there isn't much lagging or glitching, it freezes up for not even a second when someone else joins the room, but everything is fine.

I'm stuck on story mode though, I have to buy an alien suit from the hollywood store and it's not there I've tried everything but starting again, and I'm quite far so I don't want to do that.

I don't know for you guys but i can't load my saves It's always crash when i try to load it

Well, here is what I'm really wondering.  PS2 has two things A)Some exclusive characters for the limited edition version...hoping maybe the 360 version gets 'em?    B)The Face-In-The-Game thing.  Its minor but its kinda cool, I would love to see it on the 360.

I rented this for the PS2 and although I only got about a quarter way done, it did seem like a solid game, so I may be picking this up on the Xbox 360

someone please help i gotta get all the skaters together so i can make a video so i can get back the ranch im stuck where you have to spine transfer like 5 ramps all in one combo......and im stuck where i have to do what Tony Alva yells out and on the last part i cant do the combo he tells me cuz i cant get that much air some one help please...

p.s. why did they update the forums but didnt put American Wasteland forum in here thats pretty dum

There's no goofy skaters on story mode!

and it's a bit weird cause I'm a goofy skater and so I'm used to facing that way, so now I'm doing all my stuff in switch and not getting as high and not as fast ect. Iget more points though, but they should've give you an option or something, in fact it would've just been better to customize your skater, but with limited clothing and hairstyles so you can change them at the beggining of the game.

Apparently there are no load times throughout the whole of the city. So if you are good enough you could create a line from one side of the city to the other, without the game having to load up the next area.

^That is true, but there is a slight catch, ther aren't any loading times, but when travelling from one area to the next, there is some sort of tunnel leading you to the next bit, so it's kinda like an interactive loading screen, not one big city, as I thought it would be, but still there are no loading screens, even if you hop on the bus or get in a car instead of finding your way.

Haven't played this game yet, because I am waiting for the xbox 360 to come out so I can get the new classic levels. I hope online play is good.

This game has alot of classic new levels and neversoft hasent confirmed anymore than the ones for the current gen consoles.

No load times, maybe, except for the short pause as you travel through the tunnels to another area (these trips are extremely boring), not so much different to a menu really. I'd say more of a marketing strategy than a game improvement. I also never really liked the Mat Hoffman games, so I'm not that interested in that side of it. However still Tony Hawk, still fun challenges and some cool extra features, though I personally preferred Underground 2. Always love that Classic mode!

Avoiding crashes

When you do a trick off a ramp into the air and it appears that you are going to crash, get off your skateboard while still in the air. You should land safely on your feet.

Yes there are two games out, one for the 360 and one for the "old" Xbox.. I have my 360 one on order. I had to buy two games in my "package". I wanted Tony Hawk, but they did not have it in. Now I have to wait.. I see they have 45 achievements. I wish EA would have took note.
