WTF, how do i beat these guys? is there a walkthrough that does not just say... "make sure that you use all-defense they are tough. After you beat them..." I mean come on dude, they are inflicting like 350 pts of damage at a time.

I don't remember this battle being particularly difficult, but then again, that was a long time ago. If I recall correctly, the cavalry is in the back right? You want to get the GC down as fast as you can (target the front guys) and then go for the cavalry. Again, I played this part a long time ago, and I don't recall I had to do anything special here, so this is just general suggestions... Do you have enough healing items? If not, stocking up on those may be a good idea. Also, use your casters to heal your party. Other than that, just try to be smart about how you fight them :-)

you might not be leveled up enough to make this fight as easy as it could be. should be in the neighborhood of lvl 18.  if so, just cast all-shield with jansen and go to town. have kaim and seth whack away and jansen cast whatever spells hit the entire party (prism and such)

lol i posted the same question how to defeat these guys on another topic. Yeh seems i probaly should be a bit higher than 16. Just go to the crimson forest and wait for randoms to attack you

Edit: level 18, very succesful

Cast Cover on all your team mates, that reduces all damage to 0, then double team, easy.

I didn't find that battle very hard to be honest.  I basically did a physical barrier to all w/ jansen, then had him do prism, and had kaim and seth attacking.  One attack each + prism killed them, if i recall correctly.  I was level 18, i think.   Something like that.

Right after there is where the game truly picks up, imo.

I thought it was a little difficult also.  I beat them literally yesterday.  What I did was:
First turn: both imortals attack the same soldier (killing him) while jansen casts on a second.
second turn: jansen healed while the imortals hit the soldiers (killing another and damaging the final one).
third turn: One imortal uses healing herb on self and jansen heals also while the other imortal kills the final soldier.
forth turn:  jansen heal someone then dies, the two imortals attack the same cavalry.
fifth turn + : the imortals hit the cavalry.  It took me three hits per cavalry to defeat it.  Just keep hitting the same one until it's dead.  Once you're down to one guy, it should be easy since they can only attack one person at a time.  This is off of memory so it may not be exact but it's close.

this game is 10mins from being traded, the battles are so one sided its amazing anyone has ever finished it other than making their chars lv40 in some forest. I mean you start game and do fairly normal battles, fight the creature on hill whose pain but use fire etc and then you have to fight a worm twice who does enough to nearly take you out in one go, then simple guards followed by this battle. which puts whole new meaning to the cow dropings phrase. its bad enough you got soldiers who guard half the time but you then get hit with 300 evey round before you even get a turn off the horses.

great graphics, nice idea shame its been executed like it has.  its like putting you on a cod4 level on some sort one hit death skill and giving you a knife to fight with.

get jansen to use prism, worked for me

having a hard time getting past the worm, im level 14 and ive tried just about everything can i use the turn tail skill to get out of the battle and go level up some more?

i figured since this is so early in the game that level 14 would be more then enough, i even hung out on the beach for awhile leveling up just to make sure.

id appreciate any help please.

just heal/defend till its done, should have no problem after beatin those two worms

checkpoints before u meet it so its ok to die, think i was lvl 16, theres a thing called yellow band(in the storage room of the shop in the small worker bit) u should teach both ur imortals this as it stops Paralysis which the worms do alot

I remember finding the cavalry battle fairly tough. Just make sure you're at the level cap and keep everyone healed. Get the GC down, then just concentrate your attacks on the horseman.

Submarine, what are you talking about? You CAN'T make the 'chars lv40 in some forest'. Maybe it's a little tough at the start, but I enjoyed that aspect of it. Once you've worked out what to do, what skills to have and what battle-plan to use, then they can be really enjoyable fights. For what it's worth, the game steadily gets easier as it progresses. I found LO was one of the best-executed rpgs on the 360.

The Calvery Battle takes place near the flower patch in old Numara.
First Its reccamended you be at Least Lv17 or 18.
Have these Skills on Seth & Kaim: Crisis Defense Boost, Crisis Attack Boost. other skills would be up to you.
 
Rather than having Jansen casting Prism, have him use All Shield, have Kaim and Seth double team 1 enemy at a time, and have Jansen use Zephyr or Healing Herbs, Spells may take a while to cast but items are used at the start of battle.
 
In the next battle have Tolten use Cut-Down, then inquire several times and to finish off the last opponet using Power Hit twice.

Ok. This game is one of my favorite games. This part was difficult because I was a low level. So I leveled up to level 17, and had Jansen cast All-Shield. Then make sure you have Bruiser Rings, that way you get extra damage. Also, you wanna make sure that you double team one guy in the front and have Jansen cast a spell like Wind or something on a seperate guy. That way you can get rid of the front row in like 4 turns. Whenever someone uses Rush (Calvary), have Jansen use Zephyr.

That worked for me. Hope that helps.
