Re: Any Good, Worth Getting?
.... There's certainy much worse XBLA titles out there for 800 points (or 1,600 points even). But its very simplistic and probably quite short. Personally speaking as a fan of the show ... it may just be worth it, otherwise no way. At least they arnt charging >800 points to pay for the license.

Re: Any Good, Worth Getting?
My opinion of this game is: It sucks, I really don't like it. It reminds me of EXIT and Eets mixed together. Its just really annoying when u do something and the characters do the opposite of what you just did. I had to grind through it though so I wouldn't have to play it ever again.

If it sucks so bad then why did you pay for it, let alone play it enough to get the 200 points? I would not pay for a game I thought sucked after playing the demo, rather I would have simply deleted the demo and moved on to something else...

I found the game to be really disappointing. The A.I in the game is absolutely horrible. You will set up the level for the  characters to complete, but then they will start getting stuck in doorways or start walking in the wrong direction. It is really frustrating.

I'm a big fan of the show, but the game was a bust for me.  Nice production values, but the gameplay is WAY too simplistic. Sad [:(]  Most levels are just a walk from one end to the other while pulling levers.  What the heck?

Being a big fan of the show I really wanted to like this one.  No deal, not that much fun in my opinion.  If it were some other characters and not Happy Tree Friends, I would not even have thought twice about forgetting all about it.

I love the show but I can't help but hate the game. It's too simple, and I'd rather just control a single character of my choice than 5 of them. Plus there's not enough violence in the game.

They should bring out another HTF's game this time with Deathmatch.

yeah i didnt buy this one and i was really excited about it since i am a big fan of the show.  i would wish to control a charecter instead of a pointer......but on the flip side the ticket to ride game was way better than i expected it to be, so i guess it evens out.

I just love the show. For those of us who truly are fans, it's a good game to have around even if its just for fun.

Agreed, if you hate a game as much as you say you wouldnt have 200 it out. Yes it is simple, but the point is to get all 5 characters across without dieing. Yes they could have did better, but I have seen alot worse arcade games that you could download compared to this.

know who you are talking to before you bring up the "well why did you buy it" argument.  alot of people compete on the leaderboards at MGC.net and in order to stay in position, you have to 200/200 games you dont like sometimes.  I hate jewel quest with a passion....but i have 200 in it.

Calm down LOL all we were saying was if you dont like a game then "most" people wont 200 or thousand it out.

I played the demo.  Ugh.  Could be the worst Xbox Live game out there.  Avoid like the plague!

If cars had the same development as computers, they would cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year.

Honestly?  It only took me 1 or 2 levels to decide that the game was really dissappointing to me despite the fact that I was a fan of the show...although I kinda lost track of it after they changed the theme and lengthened them.  I'm really starting to dislike point-and-clickers like this 1...sometimes they take too much thought.

Re: Any Good, Worth Getting?

I love the game (so much so that I aspire to conquer the leaderboards, im currently second as far as my overall career score is concerned), but I don't know if I would say the same if I wasn't a huge fan of the show...I'd say it would really only appeal to fans...

I don't know why they made it "lemmings" style gameplay, and the violence is heavily toned down from the show, I think a different genre of game might have worked better and fitted in more with HTF's theme...I would rather directly play as my favourite character (Flaky), as opposed helping five of them through a level...speaking of which "helping" doesn't seem to be a reacurring theme in the HTF universe, i am surprised the game doesn't revolve around maiming the HTF...

Re: Any Good, Worth Getting?
Now, I know the adults got really disappointed and disliked the game, but how about for a 4 to 5 year old that is starting to get into gaming and is looking for something to play. I bet the game will be a little bit more challenging for them.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I am not disappointed with the game, and I read this forum before I decided to get it. I read all the comments and figured if it was easy for an adult, it will be difficult for a child (some). My daughter is a fan of the show and begged me to get it. I was hesitating due to the fact of all the negative replies it got. Like I say to each his own, and not all games are for everybody.

Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon, but I really don't think kids should be watching HTF.  Admittedly, the game isn't quite as horrifically violent as the show. Stick out tongue [:P]
