...disappointed...

Ya, so here I am, a huge HTF fan, love the show and then they slap this piece of c***p on me.  The second of two huge disappointments.  Allow me to explain, I have a Zune and recently discovered that HTF is offered as a podcast on the Zune marketplace, so of course I download it, only to find that many of the episodes are not Zune compatible, therefore not 360 compatible by default and each episode is chocked full of moralistic anti-drug propaganda.  Then I pay for and download this hunk of junk?  And look at the achievements for the game to boot, "Burrn 200 Happy Tree Friends to death."  (If you have played the game you know that "burning" a single tree friend is hard enough.)

Either way, I'm normally pretty accepting of any game modeled after something I like, but this game is really bad.  The repetitive game play is so boring, by the time you unlock the full episode (the treat at the end of the torture) its not even worth it.  Even if you're a hardcore HTF fan you might want to think twice about this one.  And as for you achievement point farmers, no fields to crop here.  All the achievements require you to play a torturous amount of this bad game to complete.  The full 200...my god, I salute anyone with the patience to do that.

If anyone really enjoyed this game, please comment, I really would like to know if anyone found anything appealing about this game.

I agree, big fan as well. Even have some of their original shows signed by the guys. But this was bad, if I wasn't a fan I would have avoided it. The handling is poor and can be so frustrating at times, especially when the characters get stuck at a doorway or in a corner or just start walking in the wrong way for no reason even when you put fire in front of them to turn around. There was one level where I could have thrown the TV out the window, can't remember the name but it was on the slopes where you have to melt the snow. The snow either wouldn't light or it wouldn't melt and then there were the icicles hanging from the roofs that would kill the guys. The haircross is very inaccurate and a lot of the time you can't even get at the icicles as the characters avatars are in the way!

There is no real challenge either to this game, I only played it for a few hours over a few days and flew through it. The leaderboards are also buggy, most of my scores are not registered. There's nothing here to recommend, even for fans, the show has some funny and gruesome deaths but the game somehow misses the whole idea of what the show is about!
