Has anyone got any tips for me to hit a and b any faster cos im rubbish at it, i cant find a decent techniques and im getting hammered on the sprints, any help is appreciated guys, cheers

wrap you finger in your t shirt or a CLEAN sock and rub it back and forward over the buttons works a treat

i hold my pad at an angle and use my left thumb for the left stick and right thumb for the right stick. works realli good on the running, got 10.13 last nite, my closest to the achievement so far.

If you only got 10.13 then it aint working that well lol :)

I use the stick for every event i can. crap with A & B bashing.

Currently am 5th overall in 100m hurdles with 12.15 and also in top 100 ranking on 100m and 200m.

Would be a good solution if a turbo controller would work on this game. But it doesnt (atleast, thats what i heard from several people who tried it already in this game).

The best way is to take the thumbstick between your teeth and just shake your head from left to right really fast. I managed a 11.01 on the 100m with that tactic. i'm a genius.

i wrap my finger in a tea towel and rub like the clappers, i managed to get the 100 m in just under 9.80 this way

 

 

keep a glass of water handy and wet your finger, run that finger over the A & B buttons as quick as possible and you should reach a pretty good speed. I used to use a sock but the water technique is much better

from playing all those games from the past I can make my hand spasm at will. i can always get full speed (although the longer events i tire) my main problem is getting good starts.

Where you have to use the stick, use th epalm of your hand & rotate, works pretty well except I now look like I have stigmata!!!

I now have no right hand because it has been worn away

I find it almost impossible to use the A, B bashing technique. Mainly because when I do it in events, the xbox doesn't even recognise that the buttons are being pressed half the time

Im sorry to say that no one really plays this game anymore, i have no hands left thanks to it!!!!!!!

worst of all i think with the A B method is when all is going well and you get a giggle fit,which drains all rhythm from the bashing

i use a small round bottle to slide between A and B and works great for me!

Left thumb for A and right thumb for B =]
Practice makes perfect...but you will notice a greater improvement if your playing with friends because performing under pressure seems to help with learning...lol Well thats how it is for me

everyone buy trino! it's an awesome game

wrap your left hand across the middle of the controller with your left thumb on A, then wrap your right hand where it usually goes, and use your right thumb for the B button, hold the controller loosely, and what you effectively do, is move the controller, not your thumbs, that way the motion comes from your arms, it worked a treat on track and field on the PSone, and i could usually beat my brother who used the pen trick.
