Please Clear This Up

I know that this is an old game, but I don't have '07 or '08 right now.

I also know that the server is shut down and will not come back on.

My question is: Do ALL of the achievements have to be done in the online mode? I've searched the forums, but couldn't find the answer I wanted.

Just a quick yes or no will do. Thanks :D.

What??  That's weird.....the achievement list looks like it has many that could be done offline.  Like 25 aces.....surely you can just play your career by yourself and do that?  I was thinking about picking it up just for the heck of it (since I liked '07 and '08), and since it's less than $10 at Gamestop.  But please explain how the achievements work.  That would be a bit quirky to have them only unlockable during online matches with others.

Thats what i thought too but i checked on several forums & achievement based sites and all say the same, there are no achievements in this game that can be earned from offline play.

This was an early / launch title so chances are it was rushed out and the achievements were a last second thought, along with most of the game content, I've had the last 6 TW games and this was without doubt my least favourite, closely followed by 2007 which looked good on other formats but a big letdown for 360 owners, 10+ courses less than the other versions.
